If Donald Trump has the ability to become the President of the United States, Ron Perlman has decided he does too and the actor just announced his candidacy for the next election!

“I am hereby using my immense Facebook presence to announce my candidacy for President of United States, 2020,” he captioned the below photo on Facebook.

Ron is starring in the new movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and he attended the red carpet premiere on Thursday night (November 10) in New York City.

The 66-year-old actor was joined at the event by co-stars Jon Voight, Carmen Ejogo and Dan Fogler, among others. Special guests at the premiere included Patrick Wilson and family, Chris Hardwick, Ann Curry, and more.

Liev Schreiber keeps close to wife Naomi Watts as they attend the premiere of his new movie The Bleeder held during the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival at Princess of Wales Theatre on Saturday (September 10) in Toronto, Canada.

The cute couple was joined by his co-stars Elisabeth Moss and Ron Perlman.

Jeremy Irvine suits up to hit the red carpet at the premiere of his latest film Stonewall held at the Pacific Design Center on Wednesday (September 23) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 25-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Joey King, Jonny Beauchamp, Ron Perlman, Vladimir Alexis, and Ben Sullivan, as well as Joey‘s sister Hunter and Looking star Daniel Franzese, who both came out to show their support.

The day before, Jeremy and Jonny met up with their co-star Otoja Abit at AOL Studios to attend their AOL Build Presents: Stonewall panel session in New York City.

Julian Morris, Ron Perlman and Dana Delany get together on the red carpet while attending the premiere of their show Hand Of God held at Französische Friedrichstadtkirche on Monday (August 31) in Berlin, Germany.

The three actors were joined at the event by their co-stars Alona Tal, Marc Forster, Holly Marilyn Solem, and creator Ben Watkins in support of the the new original drama series, which will be available for Amazon Prime members starting on September 4th!

“I’ve couldn’t be more proud or excited to be a part of this project! I’m seeing the second episode tonight for the first time,” Julian tweeted. “I’m excited and nervous (shitting myself) and crazy happy for everyone involved in #HandofGod!!”

Jeremy Irvine and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers witness a raid happening in the first trailer for the upcoming movie Stonewall.

The movie, directed by Roland Emmerich, tells the story of a fictional young man caught up during the 1969 Stonewall riots. Danny Winters (Irvine) is forced to leave behind friends and loved ones when he is kicked out of his parent’s home and flees to New York. Alone in Greenwich Village, homeless and destitute, he befriends a group of street kids who soon introduce him to the local watering hole The Stonewall Inn; however, this shady, mafia-run club is far from a safe-haven.

As Danny and his friends experience discrimination, endure atrocities and are repeatedly harassed by the police, we see a rage begin to build. This emotion runs through Danny and the entire community of young gays, lesbians and drag queens who populate the Stonewall Inn and erupts in a storm of anger. With the toss of a single brick, a riot ensues and a crusade for equality is born.

Also starring in the film are newcomer Jonny Beauchamp, Joey King, and Ron Perlman. It hits theaters on September 25!
