Here’s a synopsis, from Netflix: Expect the unexpected. The long-awaited return of Charlie Brooker’s dark, satirical anthology series which reinvents itself with each new episode. The sixth season of Black Mirror is the most unpredictable, unclassifiable and unexpected yet. The series is created and written by Charlie Brooker.
Season 6 of the Netflix series premieres in June, and a ton of guest stars are featured in the upcoming season.
While the show’s episodes have always been standalone, creator Charlie Brooker hints that Season 6 follows a new model, as the straemer notes “the sixth season of Black Mirror is the most unpredictable, unclassifiable and unexpected yet.”

Swarm, set between 2016-2018, follows Dre (Fishback), an obsessed fan of the world’s biggest pop star who sets off on an unexpected cross-country journey. The series will also feature guest stars Chloe Bailey as Dre’s sister, Marissa, and Damson Idris as Marissa’s boyfriend, Khalid. Additional guest stars include, Rickey Thompson, Paris Jackson, Rory Culkin, Kiersey Clemons, and Byron Bowers.
“Dre and Marissa are in their 20s and Malia is in her 20s, so it was really great having someone like her in the room,” Janine told VF. “She’s a very professional person. She’s an incredible writer and artist. We really wanted to give her the opportunity to get her feet wet in TV and see if this is something she wants to continue doing.”
Season 6 of the hit Netflix anthology series is adding one new cast member, Deadline reported Thursday (August 18).
The show is an anthology series exploring a twisted, high-tech multiverse where humanity’s greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide.
The sixth season recently entered production, and is the first from writer Charlie Brooker‘s new Netflix-backed production venture Broke & Bones, which he runs with Black Mirror exec Annabel Jones.

The new limited series centers on Detective Jeb Pyre (Garfield) as he investigates the murder of Brenda Wright Lafferty and her baby daughter in a suburb in the Salt Lake Valley.
There, he uncovers buried truths about the origins of the Latter Day Saints religion and the violent consequences of unyielding faith.
