Sarah McLachlan is poking some fun at her ASPCA ads in Busch Beer‘s Super Bowl Commercial.

The 55-year-old singer, whose song, “Angel” is featured in just about all of ASCPA’s commercials, and in this new ad, she pokes a little fun at them.

In a new interview, Sarah admitted that even watching those commercials herself is “brutal”, and that there’s a point to teaming up with Busch Beer to spoof them.

“This is a super fun opportunity, obviously, to partner with this iconic beer brand and take the piss a little bit out of the ASPCA commercial,” she shared with E! “We, as Canadians, like that opportunity. I don’t take myself very seriously.”

Alanis Morissette walks the red carpet at the opening night of her Broadway show Jagged Little Pill on Thursday (December 5) in New York City.

The new show uses the music from Alanis‘ album of the same name, plus some of her other songs, to tell a new and original story. She was joined at the event by husband Mario Treadway, as well as the show’s director Diane Paulus, book writer Diablo Cody, choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and her music co-writer Glen Ballard.

Lots of celebs stepped out to check out the opening night performance, including Sara Bareilles and her longtime boyfriend Joe Tippett.

Also in attendance were David Foster, Rosie O’Donnell and friend Ally Sheedy, singer Sarah McLachlan, theater owner Jordan Roth, The Politican‘s Laura Dreyfuss, and Broadway stars Ashley Park, LaChanze, and Laura Osnes with husband Nathan Johnson.

LaChanze‘s daughter Celia Rose Gooding is one of the leads in the show!

Tony Bennett almost took a big tumble after his performance at the 2016 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, but he was saved by Miss Piggy!

The 90-year-old singer was wrapping up a performance with the star of The Muppets when the float they were standing on started to move and he lost his footing.

Tony grabbed onto the side of the float, but Miss Piggy was also right there to help him catch his balance. Watch below!

Don’t worry about Tony, though, because his rep says he is doing just fine. “Tony is great and thanks the crowd along the parade route for their warmth and he wishes everyone a very happy Thanksgiving,” the rep told the NY Post.

Other stars pictured in the gallery at the parade include Daya, Aloe Blacc, Regina Spektor, Brett Eldredge, Sarah McLachlan, and Hamilton‘s Christopher Jackson.

Daya gets behind the mic as she rehearses for tomorrow’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Wednesday night (November 23) in New York City.

The 18-year-old singer was later joined in front of the iconic Macy’s store in NYC by America’s Got Talent winner Grace Vanderwaal.

Also spotted rehearsing were Sarah McLachlan, LunchMoney Lewis, Maddie & Tae, Timeflies, Kelsea Ballerini, along with Tony Bennett and Miss Piggy.

The festivities begin tomorrow morning (November 24) at 9am EST on NBC!

Kelly Clarkson is gorgeous as she hits to the stage to perform during the filming of CMA Country Christmas 2016 held at the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday (November 8) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 34-year-old singer was joined at the event by fellow performers Kacey Musgraves, Idina Menzel, Kelsea Ballerini, Brett Eldredge, Chris Young, Brad Paisley, hostess Jennifer Nettles, Rascal Flatts, Trisha Yearwood, Rascal Flatts, Amy Grant, Sarah McLachlan, The Voice Season 9 winner Jordan Smith, Joey Alexander and Andra Day.

The taping also served as a toy drive benefiting the Toys for Tots Program as a partnership between ABC and the U.S. Marine Corps, who operate Toys for Tots.

CMA Country Christmas 2016 airs on Monday (November 28) at 8pm ET on ABC!

Sarah McLachlan‘s commercial for the ASPCA is so sad that most people probably change the channel when it comes on, including Sarah herself!

“I have to say it was brutal doing those ads because it was like, ‘Can you just be a little more sad?’ and I was like, ‘This is just killing me … save the puppies’ … But I can’t watch them – it kills me,” the 47-year-old singer told Makers.

“I got a whole new audience out of it. I’d be at Target and in, like, Missouri at 10 o’clock at night, getting off the tour bus, and I’d be going down the aisle and these two old ladies go, ‘Are you that dog lady?’” Sarah added.

Kristen Bell and Kristin Chenoweth appear on stage together during the It’s Your 50th Christmas, Charlie Brown, airing tonight (November 30) on ABC!

The ladies starred in the 2010 comedy You Again and we love seeing them back together!

Kristin played the role of Sally Brown in the Broadway show You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown back in 1999 and we sure hope she sings “My New Philosophy” on the special.

Also making an appearance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of A Charlie Brown Christmas are Pentatonix and Sarah McLachlan.
