Justin Long Recreates Selma Blair's 'Cruel Intentions' Role in Hilarious Video with Sarah Ramos!

For the past year, Parenthood actress Sarah Ramos has been entertaining us with her Quarantscenes, where she acts out scenes from iconic film and TV series.

Sarah‘s latest entry to her comedic video series might be her best one yet. She recruited Justin Long to recreate a scene from the movie Cruel Intentions!

In the funny new video, Sarah plays Sarah Michelle Gellar‘s Kathryn Merteuil while Justin plays Selma Blair‘s Cecile Caldwell. The scene is the one where Kathryn advises Cecile to sleep with as many people as possible.

Justin wrote on his page, “Sarah started doing these brilliant homage videos at the start of the quarantine that I really fell in love with. Long before I became a big @saraheramos fan, I was a fan of Cruel Intentions and @selmablair – so getting to play Selma IN Cruel Intentions WITH Sarah was the most fun way to pay tribute to these funny + talented ladies. It also gave me a newfound appreciation for just HOW great Selma is in that movie (and how monstrous I look in comparison to her pretty face 😬).”

Selma reacted to the video on Justin‘s Instagram post by saying, “I am laughing and I love you and I see why you never would date me despite my business managers set up attempts years ago 😂. This makes up for it. Thank you dear Justin. Great work. 💋💋💋.”

“The 4 way phone call starring me & the fetchest @chloegmoretz,” Sarah captioned the video on her Instagram account.

Sarah Ramos Hilariously Recreates Dakota Johnson's Infamous Interview with Ellen DeGeneres

Sarah Ramos has been recreating movie scenes for several months during quarantine and now she’s moving on to celebrity interviews!

The 29-year-old Parenthood actress hilariously recreated Dakota Johnson‘s infamous interview with Ellen DeGeneres from November 2019.

You might remember that the interview went viral after Ellen accused Dakota of not inviting her to her 30th birthday party, but then Dakota revealed that she really was invited.

“When @TheEllenShow wrongly accused Dakota Johnson of not inviting her to her birthday party,” Sarah captioned the video.

Sarah even got her hands on the same Alessandra Rich dress that Dakota wore for the interview. See what fans had to say about that super awkward interview.

Sarah pulls double duty in the clip, taking on Jesse Eisenberg‘s role as Mark Zuckerberg and Justin Timberlake‘s role as Sean Parker.

Andrew doesn’t have any social media accounts, so he asked his friend Lin-Manuel Miranda to share his reaction!

Sarah Ramos Recreates Classic Scenes from 'Marriage Story', 'Riverdale' & 'A Cinderella Story' and the Results are Better Than the Originals

Sarah Ramos is spending her quarantine time producing and starring in a comedic video series on Instagram called Quarantscenes, where she acts out scenes from iconic film and TV series. Check out our quick Q&A with the 28-year-old Parenthood actress and click inside to watch the hilarious impressions:

JJ: Your impressions are so good, they remind me of SNL‘s Chloe Fineman. Have you watched any of her quarantine videos?

SR: I love Chloe Fineman! She has definitely, even pre-SNL, been an inspiration to me on how to use Instagram to make actual art VS just posting thirst traps with witty captions. I just wish I had her wig collection in quarantine…

JJ: Who are some of the comedic actors that you look up to? Are there certain tips and tricks you’ve picked up from them?

SR: There are so many. Off the top of my head, I adore Laura Dern, Reese Witherspoon, Allison Janney, Kirsten Dunst… I gravitate toward actors who do a mixture of drama and comedy because for whatever reason most of the acting I’ve done in film & TV has been dramatic. Laura Dern has a great cry face. Kirsten Dunst and Allison Janney in Drop Dead Gorgeous taught me how to do a Minnesota accent. Reese has so many iconic performances but Election and Legally Blonde made me who I am today.

JJ: A bunch of your quarantine videos feature films that are “so bad they’re good”. What are some of your other favorite ones?

SR: I’ve tried to make these videos loving tributes to really memorable scenes that are important to my life. Some of the originals were well-received, some less so, and they all have special places in history! But I do love things other people think are bad. I love having fun with stuff that is usually taken really seriously. And of course I love anything that made sense at the time but 20 years later feels dated and insane, hence my obsession with the early 2000s.
