Shadowhunters costars Katherine McNamara and Dominic Sherwood reunited on the red carpet a few weeks after teasing an exciting new project with another costar!

The pair, who played Clary Fairchild and Jace Herondale on the hit TV series, joined forces at the premiere of Netflix’s Ripley on Wednesday night (April 3) in Los Angeles.

They posed for photos together outside of The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood. For the occasion, Katherine opted for a black jumpsuit. Dominic selected a lilac suit that tied in the front.

Their reunion comes nearly five years after the finale of Shadowhunters aired and on the eve of a mysterious new collaboration.

Freeform has announced that the series finale of the fan-favorite show Shadowhunters will be two and a half hours long!

In addition, the network announced they’re matching the Save Shadowhunters campaign’s donation to The Trevor Project! Freeform is going to match the fundraiser with $25,000 to donate to the organization.

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning

The series finale is set to air on May 6 at 8 pm EDT/PDT. Be sure to set your DVRs.

The Shadowhunters actors were joined at the event by their co-stars Emeraude Toubia, Alberto Rosende, Matthew Daddario, Isaiah Mustafa, Harry Shum Jr., and Luke Baines.

The show is up for TV Show of 2018, Male TV Star of 2018 for Harry, Female TV Star of 2018 for Katherine, Bingeworthy Show of 2018, and Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show of 2018.

What is super cool about these nominations is that the Shadowhunters fans used the write-in ballots to get their show on the nominee list!

FYI: Katherine is wearing a Balmain dress, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes, Tiffany & Co. jewelry, and a Vince Camuto purse. Dominic is wearing Ted Baker London. Emeraude is wearing a Solace London dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, and an Edie Parker clutch. Luke is wearing Saint Laurent with Cartier jewelry.

The cast of the Freeform series just wrapped production on the the third season, which will be the final one. Fans have been campaigning all summer long in hopes of getting the show renewed for a fourth season.

The show has seven nominations, including Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show. Katherine, Dominic, Emeraude, and Matthew all have individual acting nominations, Anna is up for Choice TV Villain, and Matthew and Harry are up for Choice TV Ship.

The Freeform series Shadowhunters has been canceled after three seasons, but there is a little bit of good news too.

The upcoming 10-episode season has wrapped production, but the cast will film two more episodes to wrap the storyline in the series and end the show properly for fans.

The third season of the series will follow the fourth and fifth books in the Mortal Instruments series and the two-hour finale will cover the sixth and final book, according to Deadline.

“We are very proud of Shadowhunters, a series that broke new ground in the genre world and became a fan favorite,” Freeform said in a statement. “However, along with our partners at Constantin, we reached the very difficult decision not to renew the show for a fourth season. But as big supporters and fans ourselves, Freeform insisted on and championed the filming of a special two-part finale that would give devoted fans a proper ending. The twelve episodes will air in spring of 2019. We want to thank our talented creators, producers, cast and crew along with our colleagues at Constantin for their hard work and dedication and to Cassie Clare for her incredible book series. We look forward to the final chapter of this breakthrough drama.”

The Shadowhunters cast gathers up for a big group pic just ahead of their signing event at the 2016 New York Comic Con held at Javits Center in New York City on Saturday (October 8).

The cast — Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood, Alberto Rosende, Matthew Daddario, Emeraude Toubia, Isaiah Mustafa and Harry Shum, Jr. — also joined author Cassandra Clare and several producers from the show on the panel to talk about the upcoming season earlier in the afternoon.

It was also announced at the 2016 New York Comic Con, that Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley will direct an episode for the new season.

Shadowhunters will return on Freeform on January 2nd, 2017.
