It has been a couple of years since we’ve had an update on the planned movie, and now we know the latest on where it stands.

'Star Trek: Discovery' Season 5 - 8 Cast Members Returning, 3 Stars Joining for Final Season!

Star Trek: Discovery is embarking on one last journey.

The hit Paramount+ series, the latest in the long-running Star Trek franchise, will conclude with its fifth and final season, premiering with two episodes on Paramount+ on April 4, with new episodes premiering every Thursday.

In the series, ten years before Kirk, Spock, and the Enterprise, the USS Discovery discovers new worlds and lifeforms as one Starfleet officer learns to understand all things alien.

'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Season 3 Cast: 8 Seemingly Returning, 1 Star's Status Is Unknown

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is returning for a third season on Paramount+, hopefully in 2024.

According to a social media post, filming has already begun on season three and fans are now chatting about who may be returning, and whose status on the show is currently up-in-the-air.

'Star Trek: Prodigy' Finds New Streaming Home After Paramount+ Cancelation

Exciting news for fans of the animated series Star Trek: Prodigy!

The show first debuted on Paramount+ in October 2021 and was the first Star Trek series aimed at younger audiences. It also aired on Nickelodeon in summer 2022.

After renewing the show in November 2021 for a second season, a year and a half later, it was announced that Paramount+ was scrapping the new season and removing the first from it’s library.

Now, the show has found a new streaming home, marking the first new Star Trek series to be outside of the universe’s Paramount+ home!

Patrick Stewart is looking back on a heated encounter he had with his cast as a member of Star Trek.

The 83-year-old screen legend has been working in Hollywood for decades now, and one of his most beloved and long-lasting roles has been playing Jean-Luc Picard in the fantasy world.

Despite having a long-lasting connection to the Star Trek universe, Patrick recently admitted that there were some rocky moments at the start when he joined Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1987.

In fact, he even recalled storming off set once. He opened up about what happened and explained why he was wrong for his behavior while teasing his forthcoming Making It So: A Memoir.

Timothy Olyphant Talks Auditioning for 'Star Trek' & Why He Lost Role to Chris Pine, Addresses 'Iron Man' Rumors

Timothy Olyphant is looking back on a role that got away from him – Captain Kirk in Star Trek.

The 55-year-old Justified actor revealed that he auditioned for the role, which first hit the big screen in 2009. The part ultimately went to Chris Pine, 42.

Chris starred in three movies with a fourth that was still in the works until 2022. During a recent interview, Timothy opened up about his audition process and why the part ultimately went to Chris.

He also addressed the rumor that he was in the running to play Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Season 2 Sneak Peek Explains Why The Series Is Different Than Most Science Fiction

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds has released a sneak peek into the highly anticipated second season.

Strange New World’s cast, including Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Una Chin-Riley and Ethan Peck as Spock, all return to the Star Trek series that has brought back episodic storytelling.
