Stephen Amell and Alexander Ludwig‘s wrestling series Heels was canceled by Starz after two seasons, but there’s a chance the show might have extra life.
It was just announced that Netflix has acquired nonexclusive rights to the first two seasons of the show and will soon stream all 16 episodes that have already aired.

Lex Scott Davis is joining the cast!
The 33-year-old Training Day actress is set to star in a lead role on the Suits LA spinoff pilot at NBC, Variety reported.
Lex joins previously announced cast members Stephen Amell and Josh McDermitt in the pilot.
The official description of the pilot states: “Ted Black (Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”
She will star as Erica Rollins, described as “a savvy and strong-willed rising star. Erica works for Ted Black. She’s shrewd enough to test the loyalty of her associates only to admire some of them for not having any.”
Josh McDermitt is entering the Suits world!
The 45-year-old The Walking Dead star is set to appear opposite Steven Amell in the NBC drama pilot Suits L.A., a new spinoff from the Suits universe from creator and writer Aaron Korsh.
Production is scheduled to start in late March in Vancouver, Deadline reports.

Stephen and Robbie Amell are gearing up for Code 8 Part II!
The two cousins both starred in 2019′s Code 8, which followed a super-human construction worker who becomes entangled in a web of criminals as he tries to save his sick mother.
Per Netflix, Part II‘s official synopsis reads: “In this sequel to Code 8, Connor (Robbie Amell) is out of prison and working as a janitor at a community center, having cut ties with his former criminal associate Garrett (Stephen Amell). Connor’s attempt at staying out of trouble is destroyed when he’s forced to help 14-year-old Pav (Sirena Gulamgaus) escape from a pack of corrupt officers led by Sergeant King (Alex Mallari Jr.). King uses the newly launched robotic K9’s to track Pav down, while Connor finds himself once again reaching out to Garrett and his crew for help, but can he trust the man who landed him in prison in the first place?”

The acting cousins just announced the premiere date for the sequel, just over four years after the first movie debuted.
If you recall, the actors raised the funds for the first film via a crowd-funded campaign, but after it dropped on Netflix, it became a hit and a sequel was greenlit in 2021!
