Nazanin Mandi and Nadia Moham are speaking out.

The Ladies Like Us podcast co-hosts issued a statement following the media attention surrounding T.I.‘s recent appearance on their podcast, during which he controversially stated that he visits the gynecologist with his 18-year-old daughter to “check her hymen.”

“To everyone confused, angry and hurt by the recent episode of Ladies Like Us, we want to apologize for our knee jerk reaction to the uncomfortable topic. We were completely caught off guard/shocked and looking back, we should have reacted much differently in the moment. The comments that were mad and the reaction that followed are not in any way a reflection of our personal views on the topic. We support and love Women and feel that their bodies are theirs to do as they wish,” they wrote in their statement.

“There was absolutely no ill intent towards any party involved & feel deeply awful about the entire incident. We are not perfect, take full accountability of our lack of action & are continuously learning along the way. We know an apology doesn’t make this go away but we welcome the discussion- that’s what our podcast is about.”

Cardi B is opening up about acting after Hustlers!

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper made an appearance alongside fellow Rhythm + Flow judges Chance the Rapper and T.I. on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (October 3).

Cardi, who came straight off the plane from Paris, talked about her experience attending Paris Fashion Week, and what it’s like as a judge on her new hip-hop series. They also discussed the late Nipsey Hussle, who appeared as a guest on their show.

Chance revealed Cardi’s husband, Offset, encouraged him to propose to his now-wife, Kirsten, and Cardi explained the unique way she shows affection with Offset in public.

T.I. is back with a brand new music video for “You” featuring Teyana Taylor and “Be There” featuring London Jae, which you can watch right here.

The 38-year-old rapper dropped the visual for his latest release on Tuesday (September 17).

The intense visual takes on themes of sexual assault, molestation and sex slavery, and both of the tracks featured are from his 2018 album, Dime Trap.

“3,600 minors are sold into sex slavery every year in the state of Georgia. 1 out of every 10 sexual abuse survivors will never tell. Depending on the length/frequency of an abused child, the risk of suicidal behavior becomes greater,” the screen reads at the end of the video.

Amber Rose has her baby bump cradled by boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards as they attend The Def Jam Recordings BETX Celebration on Saturday afternoon (June 22) at Spring Place in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 35-year-old pregnant model dressed her growing bump in a silk, black dress while the 32-year-old VP of A&R Def Jam sported an all navy outfit for the party.

Cardi B happily strikes a pose alongside her hubby Offset on the red carpet at the 2019 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Wednesday (June 20) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 26-year-old Grammy-winning rapper was honored as the first female rapper to be named Songwriter of the Year at the ceremony, as well as for her songwriting on such most-performed ASCAP songs as “Bartier Cardi” featuring 21 Savage, “Ring” and “I Like It.”

“I just want to say I’m very grateful,’ Cardi B began after accepting the award (via Billboard). “Sometimes I feel like I’m not doing too much because when it comes to female rappers, it’s like you’re never doing too much or they’re always pitting you against another female rapper. People on my team are like ‘Cardi, you’re crazy. You won a Grammy. Cardi, all your songs are charting.’”

“[With] everybody saying I’m not this or that,” Cardi continued, “sometimes I gotta see it and feel it for myself because it’s hard. Everybody always wants to say I made it because of this or made it because of that. I made it because I worked my ass off… Thank you very much, ASCAP. This is an honor for me.”

Also in attendance at the ceremony was Quavo of Migos, Kehlani, Ne-Yo, T.I., Kevin Gates and Saweetie.

Tip “T.I.” Harris is here with a brand-new track called “The Weekend,” featuring Young Thug!

The rappers teamed up for the laid-back song, which they shared with fans on Friday (September 28).

That same day, it was announced that T.I.‘s upcoming 10th studio album Dime Trap will be released on October 5.

The 15-track project features a bold lineup of guest artists and previous collaborators, including Anderson .Paak, Teyana Taylor, Meek Mill, Yo Gotti, and more. See the full track list below.

“The Weekend” follows singles “Jefe” (featuring Meek Mill) and “Wraith,” (featuring Yo Gotti), which were released earlier this fall.
