Nicole Kidman and Helen Mirren are opening up about going makeup free for the 2017 Pirelli Calendar!

The 49-year-old Lion actress and Helen, 71, were photographed by Peter Lindbergh in their natural beauty – without photoshopping – for the calendar, which also includes portraits of Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz, Rooney Mara, Lupita Nyong’o, and more!

“It’s a choice and we’re allowed to have those choices, and that’s a very important conversation for the next generation, for women and little girls,” Nicole expressed (via THR). “There’s an undoubtedly regressive current towards women and minorities going in a negative direction and then there’s a positive – let’s call it a jet stream – of fast-moving, hot water that we need to fuel moving in the loving direction towards all people. This is a loving gesture coming from Peter from seeing women as real people.”

Last night (November 29), Nicole and Helen put on their best to attend the 2017 Pirelli Calendar Gran Gala alongside Charlotte Rampling, Uma Thurman, Helen‘s hubby Taylor Hackford and Peter Lindberg himself at La Cite Du Cinema in Saint-Denis in Paris, France.

“In a way our eyes need to become readjusted, because we’re so used to these spectacularly enhanced digital images and here we’re saying, ‘No let’s go back to a portrait of humanity,” Helen added. “It undoubtedly represents a culture shift.”

Helen Mirren and Taylor Hackford continue to be one of Hollywood’s most supportive couples and that showed at the premiere of his latest movie!

Taylor directed the new film The Comedian and it had its premiere during AFI Fest on Friday (November 11) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Also in attendance were stars Leslie Mann (with husband Judd Apatow and daughter Iris), Robert De Niro, Danny DeVito (with daughter Lucy), and Cloris Leachman.

The after party was hosted by Maestro Dobel Tequila and Kim Crawford Wines, and held at the Pig N’ Whistle in Hollywood!

Helen Mirren is pretty in pink while stepping out at the 2016 Museum of Modern Art Garden Party on Wednesday evening (June 1) in New York City.

The 70-year-old actress was joined by her husband Taylor Hackford, as well as singer Robyn and designer Vera Wang.

Helen‘s next film is titled Collateral Beauty, also starring Will Smith.

According to Variety, the film “follows a New York advertising exec (Smith) who experiences a deep personal tragedy. His colleagues devise an unconventional plan to break him out of his depression, which ends up backfiring.”

Bryan Cranston looks super dapper as he arrives with his wife Robin Dearden at the 2016 White House Correspondents’ Dinner held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday (April 30) in Washington, D.C.

The 60-year-old actor was also joined on the carpet by his Trumbo co-star Helen Mirren, who posed with her husband Taylor Hackford.

“I thought you’d like to see the official poster for #HBOFilms #AllTheWay premiering 5/21 at 8PM on @HBO. Looks cool,” Bryan recently tweeted about his upcoming movie.

The 70-year-old actress and her love were joined by Nolan Gerard Funk, Cuba Gooding Jr., Alan Cumming, Dree Hemingway, Jessica Hart, Lindsay Ellingson, Gina Gershon, Dana Delany, Dean Winters, and Olivia Palermo with her husband Johannes Huebl at the event hosted by Champagne Bollinger and The Cinema Society.

Helen recently expressed her thoughts on Jennifer Lawrence‘s wage inequality essay for Lena Dunham‘s Lenny Letter.

“I thought it was fabulous,” Helen told Reuters. “I loved it, it was very personal and she’s right. We are too polite as women.”

Bryan Cranston suits up to attend the special Bleecker Street screening of his latest film Trumbo held at the MoMa Screening Room on Tuesday (November 3) in New York City.

The 59-year-old actor was accompanied on the red carpet by his co-stars Helen Mirren, Diane Lane, Louis C.K, Michael Stuhlbarg, director Jay Roach, as well as Elle Macpherson, Dana Delany, Tony Bennett and his wife Susan Crow, and Helen‘s husband Taylor Hackford.
