The Mean Girls cast is feeling totally fetch at the 2018 Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday (June 10) in New York City.

The play’s cast, including Taylor Louderman, Ashley Park and Grey Henson, performed a medley during the awards ceremony.

The show was nominated for twelve categories this year, including Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical. During their performance, the cast performed “Where Do You Belong?” and “Meet the Plastics.”

The Mean Girls co-stars both had major fashion moments at the show, where they were nominated for their work in the new musical.

Taylor was up for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for playing Regina George and Ashley was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for playing Gretchen Weiners.

Also pictured inside is Grey Henson, who was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for playing Damian.

The 48-year-old Mean Girls writer stepped out for the event – Presenting The 2018 Tony Honors For Excellence In The Theatre And Honoring The 2018 Special Award Recipients – held at Sofitel Hotel on Monday (June 4) in New York City.

She was joined by Broadway’s Mean Girls nominees Taylor Louderman (Regina George), Ashley Park (Gretchen Wieners), Grey Henson (Damian), and more.

The night before, Tina took home the award for Outstanding Book of a Musical for writing the script to Mean Girls at the 2018 Drama Desk Awards.

The cast of the Tony-nominated musical Mean Girls hit the stage for a performance of the song “Apex Predator” on The Today Show on Thursday morning (May 4) in New York City.

In the scene, Janis (Barrett Wilbert Weed) warns Cady (Erika Henningsen) against hanging out with Regina George (Taylor Louderman). Also featured in the number are Kate Rockwell as Karen and Ashley Park as Gretchen.

Tina Fey, who wrote the script for musical, introduced the performance.

Also in attendance were Denzel Washington, Laurie Metcalf, Condola Rashad, David Morse, The Band’s Visit stars Tony Shalhoub, Katrina Lenk and Ari’el Stachel, Children of a Lesser God‘s Lauren Ridloff, Ariana DeBose, and My Fair Lady‘s Lauren Ambrose and Harry Hadden-Paton.

This year, Mean Girls received the most nominations with 12 total: “It’s incredibly thrilling. I am just ecstatic that these nominations are coming to every department — they’re so well deserved,” Tina expressed (via NY Times). “And I cannot lie: I cried a little bit in the middle of Equinox this morning, and not because my workout was too hard — I do not push myself at the gym.”

“It’s our day off from the show so I was trying and failing to sleep inasmuch as possible,” Andrew added about when he found out. “But I was, of course, excited just knowing that the nominations were coming out today. I’m usually very good at turning my phone off and getting myself enough sleep. I was just too excited.”

The honoree was joined by the show’s female stars Erika Henningsen (Cady), Taylor Louderman (Regina), Ashley Park (Gretchen), Kate Rockwell (Karen), Barrett Wilbert Weed (Janice), and Kerry Butler (Mrs. Norbury), and the show’s lyricist Nell Benjamin. Another Broadway star in attendance was Frozen‘s Patti Murin.

During her speech, Tina opened up about her vow to get more women in the writer’s room.

“The community of women that I work with have always inspired me to do better. To be the best I can be, if not better,” she said. “I made a vow to myself to not accept that privilege of being the only woman in the room, to make sure I was not a cappuccino machine and to use any power I had to create opportunity for others.”
