Lots of stars stepped out for the 2021 Gotham Awards!

Taylour Paige, Rooney Mara, and Thandiwe Newton were among the stars who hit the red carpet for the annual event on Monday night (November 29) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

More stars in attendance, and pictured here in the gallery, included Aldis Hodge, Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy, and Taylour‘s Zola director Janicza Bravo and writer Jeremy O. Harris.

Taylour was nominated for Outstanding Lead Performance for her work in the indie movie, which was released this past summer.

FYI: Taylour is wearing a Rodarte dress and Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Thandiwe is wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress and Cicada earrings. Aldis is wearing Dolce&Gabbana and a Vacheron Constantin watch.

Thandiwe Newton means business as she steps out of a helicopter ahead of Luke Hemsworth and Jeffrey Wright on the set of Westworld in Los Angeles on Friday (November 19).

The three actors were spotted in all black looks while filming new scenes for the upcoming season four, which is expected to premiere in 2022 on HBO.

If you’re unfamiliar, Westworld is set at the intersection of the near future and the reimagined past, focused on a world in which every human appetite can be indulged without consequence.

Thandiwe, Jeffrey and Luke were seen filming opposite two new actors in the upcoming season.

It was recently revealed that Aurora Perrineau will appear in the new episodes, although nothing about her character has been shared.

Just last month, Tessa Thompson and Ed Harris were seen filming scenes for the series in NYC.

The cast and crew of Reminiscence kept their distance while attending the film’s UK premiere!

Hugh Jackman and his co-stars posed with six feet in between themselves while walking the carpet on Wednesday night (August 11) at BFI IMAX in London, England.

Also in attendance were Rebecca Ferguson, Thandiwe Newton, Mojean Aria, and writer/director Lisa Joy. Lisa‘s husband Jonathan Nolan, who produced the movie with her, was also there.

Here is the movie’s synopsis: “Nick Bannister (Jackman), a private investigator of the mind, navigates the darkly alluring world of the past by helping his clients access lost memories. Living on the fringes of the sunken Miami coast, his life is forever changed when he takes on a new client, Mae (Ferguson). A simple matter of lost and found becomes a dangerous obsession. As Bannister fights to find the truth about Mae’s disappearance, he uncovers a violent conspiracy, and must ultimately answer the question: how far would you go to hold on to the ones you love?”

Reminiscence will premiere in theaters and on HBO Max on August 20.

On all her future films being credited with Thandiwe Newton, after the W was carelessly missed out and spelled “Thandie” in her first credit: “That’s my name. It’s always been my name. I’m taking back what’s mine.”

Thandie Newton is revealing why she spoke out about working with Tom Cruise on Mission: Impossible 2 and why she was “scared” of him.

“I just happened to be an older woman who has recognized that knowing the truth and speaking the truth has benefited me a hell of a lot more than being silenced or seeing people silenced around me,” Thandie told Variety when asked why she came forward with her story. “And I have nothing to lose. I have nothing to lose because I could just then not get hired, which is kind of normal for people in my generation anyway. So I’ve got nothing to lose and I would rather go out using this moment…It’s not about confessionalism, it’s not even about my confessions. It’s about that this is the reality of what people face.”

Part of what Thandie revealed about Tom was that during one difficult scene, he forced her to switch roles with him so he could show her what to do.

Thandie recalled, “So we rehearsed and they recorded it, and then he goes, ‘I’ll be you. You be me.’ So we filmed the entire scene with me being him — because, believe me, I knew the lines by then — and him playing me. And it was the most unhelpful … I can’t think of anything less revealing. It just pushed me further into a place of terror and insecurity. It was a real shame. And bless him. And I really do mean bless him, because he was trying his damnedest.”

Thandie also confessed what happened that made her turn down the 2000s Charlie’s Angels movie.

Thandie was just nominated for an Emmy for her work in HBO’s Westworld.

Leah Remini is reacting to Thandie Newton‘s candid story about working with Tom Cruise, and not exactly loving the experience.

The Scientology and the Aftermath host spoke to The Daily Beast about her dissatisfaction with Tom, as well as how she felt seeing Thandie speak her mind.

If you didn’t know, Thandie said she was “scared” of Tom on the set of Mission: Impossible 2 and said the experience was a “nightmare,” claiming he handed out Scientology recruiting material as gifts to cast and crew.

“That takes huge balls to do what she did, and if more people speak out in that way, and be brave enough to do so, I think we might get somewhere. Tom has gotten away with being this ‘nice guy,’ because that’s what Scientology policy says — to create good PR in the world and make those ‘good actions’ known. But if you actually look at his actions, they’re not consistent,” Leah said.

She also said she was reprimanded after asking why Tom was “the poster child” for the organization, “because Tom Cruise is considered a messiah in Scientology,” and says he’s not “this super-nice guy” like people believe.
