George Clooney thinks that Ben Affleck deserves to win his third Academy Award this year.

Both of the guys are two-time Oscar winners and they won their second one together in 2013 as producers on the Best Picture winner Argo. George also won Best Supporting Actor in 2006 for Syriana and Ben won Best Original Screenplay in 1998 for Good Will Hunting.

George just directed Ben in the movie The Tender Bar, which has earned him Best Supporting Actor nominations at both the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards.

Jennifer Lopez is throwing her support behind her boyfriend Ben Affleck‘s new movie The Tender Bar, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The 52-year-old entertainer took to her Instagram Stories on Friday (January 7) to celebrate the film’s release and to show off the promotional box she received for the movie.

“This is adorable, from The Tender Bar on Amazon Prime Video,” she said while opening the box, which contained a note to her, along with cans of Blue Point Toasted Lager beer and a mini bowling lane.

Jennifer Lopez is supporting Ben Affleck on his big night!

The 52-year-old entertainer and the 49-year-old actor looked so in love at the latest screening of his new movie The Tender Bar on Sunday evening (December 12) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

Fellow cast members at the screening included Tye Sheridan, Daniel Ranieri, Christopher Lloyd, and pregnant Lily Rabe.

Other stars in attendance included Kiefer Sutherland, Anne Heche, Gregg Sulkin, Garrett Clayton, and Abbie Cornish.

Directed by George Clooney, The Tender Bar centers around J.R. (Sheridan), who is seeking a replacement for his father, a New York City disc jockey who had vanished before his son spoke his first word. The boy turns in desperation to the bar on the corner and finds friendship from his uncle (Affleck) and other adults who take him into their circle.

The Tender Bar is scheduled to be released in LA & NY theaters on December 17th, in theaters nationwide December 22nd and globally on Amazon Prime Video January 7th, 2022. You can watch the trailer here!

The stars are stepping out for the premiere of The Tender Bar!

George Clooney, Ben Affleck, and Tye Sheridan posed together on the red carpet at the premiere of their upcoming movie held on Sunday night (October 3) at the DGA Theater Complex in Los Angeles.

Also in attendance were fellow cast members Daniel Ranieri, Christopher Lloyd, and pregnant Lily Rabe, who was joined on the red carpet by longtime love Hamish Linklater.

George was supported at the premiere by his wife Amal Alamuddin-Clooney.

George Clooney and Ben Affleck are sharing a sweet moment of celebration.

The 59-year-old director and the 48-year-old actor were seen hugging on the last day of filming on the set of The Tender Bar on Wednesday (April 14) in Ipswitch, Mass.

They filmed a scene together where Ben‘s buddies – including Max Casella, who plays Chief – load up his classic convertible with beer before heading off.

Ben Affleck and Tye Sheridan are getting to work on their new movie!

The 48-year-old actor and the 24-year-old actor masked up on set of their movie The Tender Bar on Saturday afternoon (March 6) in Boston, Mass.

Ben and Tye both sported suits while filming their upcoming George Clooney-directed movie. Their co-star Lily Rabe was also spotted on set.

The Tender Bar stars Ben and Tye and is an adaption of the memoir of the same name by Pulitzer Prize-winning author and film subject J.R. Moehringer, who will serve as an executive producer on the movie.

The Tender Bar “recounts Moehringer’s adolescent years, as he grows up on Long Island in search of a father figure among the patrons at his uncle’s bar.”

Sources are saying that Tye will be playing J.R. while Ben will be playing the uncle.

The 59-year-old Oscar winner bundled up as he began production on his new movie The Tender Bar on Friday afternoon (March 5) in Cambridge, Mass.

George spent the day filming on the Lesley University campus, which is being used as a stand-in for Yale University.

The Tender Bar stars Ben Affleck and Tye Sheridan and is an adaption of the memoir of the same name by Pulitzer Prize-winning author and film subject J.R. Moehringer, who will serve as an executive producer on the movie.

The Tender Bar “recounts Moehringer’s adolescent years, as he grows up on Long Island in search of a father figure among the patrons at his uncle’s bar.”

Sources are saying that Tye will be playing J.R. while Ben will be playing the uncle.

As of right now, it’s unclear if George will be appearing in The Tender Bar.

It was recently announced that George Clooney will be reuniting with a former co-star for a new romantic comedy!
