The cast of the new Netflix series The Witcher: Blood Origin hit the red carpet together at the UK premiere!

Sophia Brown and Laurence O’Fuarian, who lead the new Witcher spin-off series, posed for photos at the premiere on Monday (December 12) at BFI Southbank in London, England.

More cast members in attendance included Lizzie Annis, Huw Novelli, Francesca Mills, Zach Wyatt, Joey Batey, and Minnie Driver.

Set in an elven world 1200 years before the world of The Witcher, Blood Origin will tell a story lost to time – the creation of the first prototype Witcher, and the events that lead to the pivotal conjunction of the spheres, when the world of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.

The four-part event series, which also stars Michelle Yeoh, will drop on Netflix on Christmas Day.

Queen & Slim‘s Jodie Turner-Smith is set to star in The Witcher‘s prequel series for Netflix, titled The Witcher: Blood Origin!

Here’s a synopsis from Deadline: “Set in an elven world 1,200 years before the world of The Witcher, Blood Origin will tell a story lost to time – the creation of the first prototype Witcher, and the events that lead to the pivotal ‘conjunction of the spheres,’ when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.”

Jodie will portray the role of Éile, “an elite warrior blessed with the voice of a goddess, who has left her clan and position as Queen’s guardian to follow her heart as a nomadic musician.”

The show will be a six-part limited series. Henry Cavill‘s The Witcher is a smash-hit show on Netflix. Unfortunately, the show hit a bit of a snag a few weeks ago!
