Kaitlyn Dever and Alice Englert walk the red carpet at the premiere of their new movie Them That Follow on Tuesday (July 30) at the Landmark Theatre in Los Angeles.

Also in attendance at the premiere were their co-stars Lewis Pullman, Thomas Mann, Walton Goggins, and Jim Gaffigan, as well as writer/directors Britt Poulton and Dan Madison Savage.

Them That Follow hits theaters in limited release on August 2. Here is the synopsis: Deep in Appalachia, Pastor Lemuel Childs (Goggins) presides over an isolated community of serpent handlers, an obscure sect of Pentecostals who willingly take up venomous snakes to prove themselves before God. As his devoted daughter, Mara (Englert) prepares for her wedding day, under the watchful eye of Hope Slaughter (Olivia Colman), a dangerous secret is unearthed and she is forced to confront the deadly tradition of her father’s church.

The upcoming movie stars Olivia Colman, Kaitlyn Dever, Alice Englert, Jim Gaffigan, Walton Goggins, Thomas Mann and Lewis Pullman.

Here’s a plot summary: deep in Appalachia, Pastor Lemuel Childs (Goggins) presides over an isolated community of serpent handlers, an obscure sect of Pentecostals who willingly take up venomous snakes to prove themselves before God. The movie hits theaters on August 2.

Kaitlyn Dever joins Thomas Mann and Alice Englert on the carpet for the premiere of Them That Follow during the 2019 SXSW Festival on Friday (March 8) at the Alamo Drafthouse in Austin, Tex.

The movie, which also stars Olivia Colman, had its world premiere earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival.

Them That Follow follows “members of an isolated community of Pentecostal snake handlers led by Pastor Lemuel (Walton Goggins) who risk their lives to attest themselves before God. Lemuel’s daughter Mara (Englert) prepares for her wedding to the young believer her father has singled out for her under the watchful eye of Hope (Colman), while scrambling to hide a secret that has the potential to drive her father’s church to ruin,” according to Deadline.

Gerard Butler is one of the film’s producers!

Gerard Butler hits the step and repeat at the premiere of Them That Follow held at Eccles Center Theatre during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on Sunday (January 27) in Park City, Utah.

The 49-year-old actor serves as a producer on the thriller.

Also in attendance were the film’s stars Kaitlyn Dever, Thomas Mann, Alice Englert, Jim Gaffigan, Lewis Pullman, and Walton Goggins, as well as co-writers/directors Dan Madison Savage and Britt Poulton.

Them That Follow is “set deep in the wilds of Appalachia, where believers handle death-dealing snakes to prove themselves before God, Them That Follow tells the story of a pastor’s daughter who holds a secret that threatens to tear her community apart.”

The 26-year-old former Parenthood star created the series and based it on a script she wrote when she was 12. As part of a “For Your Consideration” Emmy push, Sarah hosted a live reading of the show on Friday (June 2) in Los Angeles.

Sarah was joined at the event by celeb friends like Rosario Dawson, Busy Philipps, Brittany Snow, Michael Angarano, Thomas Mann, and Sarah‘s Parenthood on-screen brother Max Burkholder. Other participants in the live read included Nick Thorburn, Dylan Gelula, Brendan Scannell, Vanessa Chester, and Armen Weitzman.

Prior to the live reading, Sarah spoofed David Lynch‘s 2006 FYC stunt, only she stood with a decidedly fake cow.

Bel Powley steps out in a flowy dress for Variety’s 10 To Watch Mentor Brunch during the 2015 Hamptons International Film Festival on Sunday (October 11) in East Hampton, New York.

The 23-year-old actress was joined by Thomas Mann, Christopher Abbott, Keith Stanfield, chef Bobby Flay, and HIFF Artistic Director David Nugent, where they met with Morgan Freeman.

The day before, Bel, Thomas, Christopher and Keith spoke on the Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch at the Variety brunch.

Thomas is also pictured at the photo call for his film, The Preppie Connection with co-stars Dylan Blue, Logan Huffman, Lucy Fry, and Robert Gorrie.

Bel also attended the Chairman’s Reception and Christopher hit up the photo call for James White.

Thomas Mann, Olivia Cooke, and RJ Cyler hit the red carpet at the UK premiere of their critically acclaimed movie Me and Earl and the Dying Girl on Wednesday (August 19) at Somerset House in London, England.

The three stars have been touring around Europe this week to promote the film, which was just slated for a Blu-ray and DVD release in the U.S. on October 6.
