James Marsden and Tika Sumpter are hard at work on the new Sonic the Hedgehog movie!

The 47-year-old actor and the 40-year-old actress filmed an action-packed scene for their upcoming movie on Tuesday afternoon (April 20) in Vancouver, Canada.

In the photos, James and Tika run down the street as smoke from an explosion follows them.

Earlier in the day, James and Tika were seen getting off of a helicopter to film another scene.

The two stayed safe in face masks as they chatted in between scenes.

Last May, it was announced that there would be a Sonic the Hedgehog sequel. The first film was released back in early 2020.

As of right now, details for the movie are being kept under wraps. The first film told the story of the world’s speediest hedgehog as he embraces his new home on Earth. Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz) and his new best friend Tom (Marsden) team up to defend the planet from the evil genius Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) as he plots world domination.

In the movie, Tika plays James‘ wife Maddie Wachowski.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar is opening up about the Saved By The Bell revival and just how many Zack and Kelly moments fans will get to see.

Speaking with TVLine recently, the 46-year-old actor, who brought Zack Morris to life on the hit series, revealed how much he and Tiffani Thiessen will be involved with the new show.

“As far as I know, she will be in an episode or two with me,” Mark-Paul shared. “She was, at the time, working on [Netflix’s Alexa & Katie].”

He added that their limited number of episodes aren’t “necessarily because of our desire to do it. It was more of a commitment to other things.”

“The fact that ABC is allowing me to do something for NBC, I’m super gracious that they’re allowing me to do that,” Mark-Paul added, while promoting mixed-ish with his on-screen wife Tika Sumpter and on-screen daughter Arica Himmel during the 2020 SCAD aTVfest in Atlanta this weekend.

Mark-Paul will be in three episodes of the revival, and also serve as an executive produer.

Tiffany Haddish was face to face with one of her idols, star Jim Carrey, at the premiere of Sonic The Hedgehog held at the Regency Village Theatre on Wednesday night (February 12) in Westwood, Calif.

The 40-year-old actress got to meet Jim on the blue carpet premiere, as well stars Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell and Lee Majdoub.

Tiffany brought along her goddaughter, Cadence Martin, to check out the movie before it hits theaters on Friday, February 14.

Tiffany has been a big fan of Jim for a long time, and during her early stand up days, told crowds she wanted to be the next Jim Carrey.

“I want to be somebody when I grow up, I wanna be a huge star—not physically, but I want to be big. I wanna be the next Halle Berry-slash-Jim Carrey, with that Oprah Winfrey money—you know, motherf***in’ rich.”

Kerry Washington, Billy Porter, and Janelle Monae hit the carpet while attending the 2020 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon on Thursday (February 6) at the Four Seasons’ Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The stars were all at the event to celebrate some of the most successful and inspiring black women in Hollywood!

James Marsden is making a rare appearance with two of his kids!

The 46-year-old actor was joined by daughter Mary, 14, and son William, 7, at the Sonic the Hedgehog Family Day Event on Saturday afternoon (January 25) at the Paramount Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.

James was also joined by longtime girlfriend Edei at the event.

James‘ co-stars Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, and Tika Sumpter also attended the event along with the movie’s director Jeff Fowler.
