Gayle King poses with Tyler Perry at the Directors Series during the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival at Spring Studios on Monday (June 13) in New York City.

The 67-year-old TV host hit the red carpet in a short-sleeved green dress and a vibrant multicolored clutch. She also wore mismatched shoes, pairing one two-toned stiletto with a pastel floral clog.

Tyler, 52, pointed out her footwear ahead of their Q&A together, telling her that he was “loving the shoes.”

“I have this thing called achilles tendonitis, so it’s all good,” Gayle replied, per People.

“Tyler goes, ‘Why don’t you just put on both clogs?’ I go, ‘Because it’s fashion, Tyler. I don’t want people thinking I’m wearing these clogs just because. There’s a reason,’” she added.

Beyonce skipped the red carpet at the 2022 Oscars, but she did show up at the show later in the night!

The 40-year-old superstar looked stunning in a yellow gown while inside the venue at the 2022 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 27) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Only one photo has emerged of Beyonce inside the theater and you can see it here! She posed for a photo with husband Jay-Z and friend Tyler Perry during a commercial break.

Beyonce was nominated for Best Original Song for her song “Be Alive” from the movie King Richard. The award went to Billie Eilish and Finneas for their song “No Time to Die” from the movie of the same name.

Beyonce opened the show with a pre-taped performance of the song.

FYI: Beyonce is wearing a Valentino Haute Couture gown.

Other guests included Amber Riley and Tabitha Brown.

A Madea Homecoming is the twelfth film in the Madea franchise and follows Madea’s great-grandson’s college graduation party. The film is scheduled to be released on February 25, 2022.
