A new television series based on the comic book Watchmen is in the works at HBO!
Director Zack Snyder, who helmed the 2009 film adaptation, is in early talks to develop the series.
“Preliminary discussions regarding Watchmen have occurred but we have no additional information and no deals are in place,” HBO told Variety in a statement.
There is no word at the moment on the plot of the series, including whether it would serve as a prequel, sequel, or new take on the film and comic book series.
