Yael Grobglas is opening up about her all new Hallmark movie, Hanukkah on Rye, which premieres tonight!
The 38-year-old actress stars alongside Jeremy Jordan in the final film in Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2022 programming.
Hanukkah on Rye centers on Molly and Jacob, who were matched together by a matchmaker, but their new romance is put to the test when they realize that they are competing deli owners. Will a Hanukkah miracle keep them together?

Yael Grobglas is a mom!
The 35-year-old Jane the Virgin actress and partner Artem Kroupenev announced on Friday (January 17) that they have welcomed their first child, daughter Arielle.
“Ok.. I hope I do this right. Happy to announce the landing of our human-bean Arielle! Mother and daughter are doing well. Father’s weight is 165,” Yael joked on Instagram.
“Completely objectively, she is perfect. As much as I want to post every moment of her toe, I have decided to curb my urge to show her off and protect this little one’s privacy until she can make her own decision. It’s not her fault her mom was on TV and she deserves to make that choice for herself :),” Yael continued. “At the moment, she barely knows she has hands so might take a min. (I reserve the right to change my mind at any point in the future, I am currently very sleep deprived and a puddle of emotions).”
Yael concluded her note, writing: “Thank you my lovelies for understanding and helping protect this little creature. I love you all. Wish us luck. And sleep. And luck.”

Yael took to her profile to share two photos from a pre-Emmy Awards party – one from the front and one from the side.
In the second picture, Yael could be seen sporting a noticeable baby bump.
“The evening before #MPTF front and side angle,” Yael captioned the photo.
Her co-stars chimed in in the comment section, with Gina Rodriguez writing, “yesssssss mama”

Gina Rodriguez and Sophia Bush buddy up at the CÎROC Empowered Women’s Brunch!
The 33-year-old Jane the Virgin star and the 35-year-old Chicago P.D. actress snapped some cute pics together at the event, powered by Variety, at the W Hollywood on Monday (May 21) in Los Angeles.
Gina was pretty in a pink ensemble with white booties, while Sophia rocked a double denim look featuring a red pocket and boots.
They were joined by Gina‘s Jane the Virgin co-stars Yael Grobglas and Jaime Camil, the show’s creator Jennie Urman, as well as Dear White People‘s Logan Browning, Black Lightning‘s Nafessa Williams, Jillian Michaels, Nazanin Mandi, Jeannie Mai, Renee Olstead, Olesya Rulin, and more.
The brunch was held to celebrate the accomplishments of dynamic women in business, activism, music, fashion, and beyond. Benefitting Dress for Success, CÎROC donated professional wardrobes in honor of each Empowered Brunch honoree accompanied by a financial donation to the local chapter of the organization.

The married couple joined Jane the Virgin‘s Yael Grobglas and Life Sentence actors Elliot Knight and Brooke Lyons to volunteer at Third Thursday, a special service and volunteer day. This was all part of the Make March Matter campaign.
Troian and Patrick were in charge of handing out coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks to families, nurses and doctors and visited young patients at their bedsides.
Elliot and Brooke teamed up to make animal masks and color with the patients.
Yael handed out gift bags filled with coloring books, beanies, and other goodies.
