Kodi Smit-McPhee had a date night at The Hollywood Reporter’s Oscar Nominees Night!

The 25-year-old actor and his longtime girlfriend Rebecca Phillipou celebrated his Oscar nomination at the event on Monday (March 7) at Spago in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Kodi is up for Best Supporting Actor for The Power of the Dog. Ciaran Hinds, who is nominated in the same category for Belfast, was also at the event.

More celebs who stepped out to ring in Oscars season included Heidi Klum and husband Tom Kaulitz, Chloe Bailey, Tika Sumpter, Inanna Sarkis and Matthew Noszka, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wilmer Valderrama and wife Amanda Pacheco, Bianca Lawson, and Amy Forsyth.

Questlove, who is nominated for Best Documentary Feature for Summer of Soul, was also there.

Wilmer Valderrama and Amanda Pacheco welcomed their first child, a baby girl, last month and the couple have just revealed the baby’s special name.

In an interview with People, the 41-year-old NCIS actor shared the name they chose for her: Nakano Oceana Valderrama.

“The name was exciting to figure out because, you know, everyone is gonna have an opinion,” Wilmer shared. “When we said the name, it created an unbelievable debate in our family. Some people thought it was off the wall, and others thought that it was just serendipitous and so beautiful.”

He added that Nakano‘s name was inspired by a trip he and Amanda took to Japan, where they said their “I love yous” for the first time.

“Amanda and I traveled the world on our first year of our relationship. We decided to just throw ourselves in the deep end, so we traveled the planet. And one of those big trips that we took was to Japan,” Wilmer shared. “… There was something very spiritual about traveling there and really understanding the culture, to take it in, the spirituality of it all. It really touched us. That trip was just so beautiful and eye-opening.”

“Nakano became something that felt strong, felt unique, felt different,” he continued on. “I thought what a cool, fun little conversation topic for our daughter to have as she grows older. But also, the respect and the heritage, and the tribute to one of those beautiful moments where my fiancée and I said ‘I love you’ for the first time. To commemorate that trip to Japan with our first labor of love.”

Wilmer also revealed the inspiration behind her middle name Oceana, which is a tribute to mom Amanda, as she’s a divemaster.

“She’s incredibly passionate about the ocean and diving and ocean life, so that was another tribute to her mom.”

Wilmer Valderrama and Amanda Pacheco have a Valentine’s Day baby!

The NCIS actor revealed on Instagram this weekend that he and fiancée, Amanda Pacheco, have welcomed their first child together.

The newborn baby girl was born on February 15, just a day after the romantic holiday.

“Life is an ever evolving journey, and for all those times when our path needs a light.. often angels are sent to show us the way and that we can be more.. straight out of heaven we welcome our first daughter…,” Wilmer captioned the sweet photo of the new family together.

Amanda wrote the same thing on her own feed, and together, she and Wilmer added the hashtag, “#itsjustus3now.”

Wilmer and Amanda announced their engagement just after Christmas in 2020, and revealed they were expecting just a few months ago.
