There’s a major change coming to the CBS series FBI ahead of the upcoming seventh season.
The crime drama series is nearing the end of its sixth season right now and CBS has already renewed the show through 2027 for seasons seven, eight, and nine.

All of the nominations for the 2024 Daytime Emmy Awards have been announced!
After the first round of nods were announced, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences revealed the remaining nominations on Friday morning (April 19)
The upcoming awards celebrate and recognize “outstanding achievement in television programming and crafts since 1974, honoring work in a variety of categories, including daytime dramas, talk shows, instructional programming, hosting, culinary and legal/courtroom programs.”
The Kelly Clarkson Show leads the daytime talk show categories with nine noms while The Young and the Restless‘ Eric Braeden earned his first nomination in over 20 years!

The NCIS: Origins cast is getting even bigger.
Several more stars have since signed on as series regulars in the cast of the CBS prequel series, which just got a straight-to-series order for the 2024-2025 broadcast season.
Here’s what to expect, via Deadline: executive produced and narrated by Mark Harmon, Origins begins in 1991, years prior to the events of NCIS, and chronicles Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ younger years. In the prequel, Gibbs starts his career as a newly minted special agent at the fledgling NIS Camp Pendleton office where he forges his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by NCIS legend Mike Franks.

Elsbeth is going to be back for a second season at CBS!
The Carrie Preston-led series debuted earlier this year. For those who don’t know, Elsbeth follows Carrie‘s beloved recurring character Elsbeth Tascioni from The Good Wife, though the new series is not billed as a spin-off.

It’s official – The Gates is coming to CBS!
The network’s first Black soap opera in 35 years has been ordered to series, and is set to debut in January 2025.
News of the new series was first revealed at the beginning of march, as a joint venture between CBS Studios and the NAACP.
