Brave New World has been cancelled by Peacock.

The new streaming site announced on Wednesday (October 28) that they would not be renewing the show for a second season.

“There will not be Season 2 of Brave New World on Peacock,” Peacock said in a statement to Deadline. “[Showrunner] David Wiener created a thought-provoking and cinematic adaptation. We’re grateful to the cast and crew who brought this world to life. We look forward to telling more stories with David in the future.”

Based on the groundbreaking novel by Aldous Huxley, Brave New World imagines a utopian society that has achieved peace and stability through the prohibition of monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself. As citizens of New London, Bernard Marx (Harry Lloyd) and Lenina Crowne (Jessica Brown Findlay) embark on a vacation to the Savage Lands, where they become embroiled in a harrowing and violent rebellion. Bernard and Lenina are rescued by John the Savage (Alden Ehrenreich), who escapes with them back to New London. John’s arrival in the New World soon threatens to disrupt its utopian harmony, leaving Bernard and Lenina to grapple with the repercussions.

The show also starred Demi Moore, Kylie Bunbury, Hannah John-Kamen, Sen Mitsuji, Joseph Morgan, and Nina Sosanya.

According to reports, Brave New World is being shopped around to different outlets.

The Downton Abbey actress and the How to Build a Girl got married in a surprise wedding ceremony on Saturday (September 12) in London, United Kingdom.

Jessica revealed the happy news on Monday (September 14) with a photo from the ceremony.

“♥️wins every time . A weekend of dreams. Small celebrations felt HUGE. And now what a birthday! X I love you. ♥️,” she captioned the post, along with sharing snaps on her Instagram Story, including a picture of the two kissing in the back of an iconic London red double-decker bus.

She wore a long-sleeved, semi-sheer gown with floral appliqués and a thigh-high slit.

They first met in 2017 while working on the set of the Hulu series Harlots, according to Daily Mail.

The upcoming series Brave New World has been given a premiere date – July 15!

The Mike Newell-directed teaser for the upcoming Netflix feature was released on Thursday (June 28).

The movie, based on the best-selling novel by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows, co-stars Lily James, Michiel Huisman, Glen Powell, Matthew Goode, Jessica Brown Findlay, Katherine Parkinson, Tom Courtenay and Penelope Wilton.

The movie sees Lily James play free-spirited writer Juliet Ashton, who forms a life-changing bond with the delightful and eccentric Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, when she decides to write about the book club they formed during the occupation of Guernsey in WWII.

Lily and Jessica were joined at the premiere by Michiel Huisman, Glen Powell, and Tom Courtenay, who also appear in the new film. It will be released in the UK on April 20, but the movie does not yet have a U.S. release date.

Jessica Brown Findlay is bravely opening up about her battle with an eating disorder for the past 13 years.

The 27-year-old Downton Abbey star was inspired to share her story because of a new project.

“I’m doing Hamlet, and it explores a lot about mental health, and…I’ve had an eating disorder since I was 14,” she revealed to the Daily Telegraph.

Jessica continued, “I felt alone for so long, and I just hid. Then I started talking and held my head up and instead of saying sorry decided to tell myself that I matter. For a while, I really shied away from things.”

She went on to explain that through therapy, she helped herself “feel safe and good and healthy.”

“We can feed certain ideas of what beauty is and what success is. There has to come a time where those aren’t the rules anymore. Then we can have a mature conversation about what that is about, and about depression…It’s about learning to stand up and say, ‘This is me, and that’s OK.’ I’m not going to be a better actor if I’m a dress size smaller. It’s nothing to do with my brain,” Jessica concluded.
