The cast of Broadway’s new play Grey House is celebrating opening night!

Laurie Metcalf, Sophia Anne Caruso, and Millicent Simmonds hit the red carpet with playwright Levi Holloway on Tuesday night (May 30) at the Lyceum Theatre in New York City.

They were also joined by co-stars Paul Sparks, Cyndi Coyne, Eamon Patrick O’Connell, Alyssa Emily Marvin, and Colby Kipnes. Cast member Tatiana Maslany did not walk the carpet.

Here’s the show’s synopsis: “When a couple crashes their car in the mountains, they seek shelter in an isolated cabin. Its inhabitants, though somewhat unusual, are eager to make their guests feel right at home. But as the blizzard outside rages on and one night turns into several, the couple becomes less and less sure of what’s true—about their hosts, themselves, and why that sound in the walls keeps getting louder.”

Also in attendance were celeb guests Michael Shannon, Charlie Carver, Edie Falco, Michael Stuhlbarg, Zachary Quinto, Miriam Shor, and Michael Urie.

The 2022 BAFTAs show is less than 24 hours away and many of the nominees stepped out to celebrate their nominations at a pre-party!

West Side Story‘s Ariana DeBose, The Power of the Dog‘s Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Licorice Pizza‘s Alana Haim were among the nominated stars who attended the reception on Saturday night (March 12) in London, England.

One interesting thing about the BAFTAs nominees is that in the Best Actress category, none of the six nominated actresses are up for an Oscar this year.

The show will air at 2pm ET / 11am ET on the BritBox streaming service for fans watching in North America.

A Quiet Place franchise star Millicent Simmonds is set to star as famed deaf, blind and disability rights activist Helen Keller.

The film is titled Helen & Teacher, and will also star Rachel Brosnahan as her real life translator and companion, Anne Sullivan.

Millicent, who is deaf, is actually a distant cousin of Helen Keller’s, THR reports.

“Most people only know of Helen Keller’s story from when she was a child. Helen & Teacher will look at her as a young adult when she developed a radical, world-changing political voice,” director Wash Westmoreland said in a statement. “Today, when some TikTok threads dispute Helen Keller’s achievements and even her existence, it is time for a film that shows her relevance, her brilliance, and her unbreakable spirit.”

The movie A Quiet Place Part II is now available to watch at home… for free!

The film was released in theaters on May 28 and Paramount Pictures has kept to its promise to make the movie available for home viewing just 45 days after its theatrical release.

Millicent Simmonds is opening up about taking the lead in A Quiet Place II, as the film breaks the pandemic box office curse.

The -year-old actress plays Regan Abbott in the movie, the daughter of Evelyn and Lee Abbott, played by Emily Blunt and John Krasinski in the movie.

The sequel to the 2018 movie centers back on the remaining Abbott family who now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe have reprised their roles as Regan and Marcus Abbott in the sequel to the hit 2018 horror film.

The story of the sequel kicks off immediately after the events in the first movie, so the kids remain the same age even though the actors have clearly aged.
