On the witness stand last week, Johnny Depp‘s graphic text exchange with his friend, Marvel actor Paul Bettany, was revealed to the court.
You can read the entire exchange here, but in part, they wrote back and forth to each other in 2013 about burning and drowning Amber Heard‘s body. Specifically, Johnny texted, “Let’s drown her before we burn her!!! will f— her burnt corpse afterward to make sure she’s dead.”

One of the settings of the series is in a very old castle and production designer Christina Moore has opened up about the importance of it in the show.

Claire Foy stepped out this week with her A Very British Scandal co-star Paul Bettany to promote the limited series!
The 37-year-old actress and the 50-year-old actor appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert together on Wednesday (April 13) in New York City.
During the interview, Claire opened up about her daughter being back in school after a long COVID break, which she is very happy about.
“Yes, thank God, now that COVID is hopefully….she can go to school now,” Claire said. “She couldn’t go to school for a very long time.”
Stephen asked if it was hard to let her daughter go back to school and Claire replied, “Nope… Isn’t it great that they’re back in school! I think it’s extraordinary.”

Paul Bettany has spoken out again about his private messages with Johnny Depp, which were made public as part of Depp‘s libel court case.
The disturbing text messages were reportedly sent back in 2013 and they included some graphic mentions of Johnny‘s ex-wife Amber Heard.
Johnny reportedly texted Paul and said, “Let’s burn Amber!!!”

Paul Bettany is speaking out to address his private text messages with Johnny Depp, which became public as part of the actor’s libel case against The Sun.
If you don’t remember, Johnny sued The Sun for libel over the paper’s use of the term “wife beater” to describe him. He lost the case and also lost a bid to have the ruling overturned.
The two actors have worked together on several films and have remained friends throughout the years. When Johnny was facing accusations from ex-wife Amber Heard, Paul tweeted, “Known Johnny Depp for years and through several relationships. He’s the sweetest, kindest, gentlest man that I’ve ever known. Just saying.”
Paul and Johnny texted each other in 2013 and wrote some graphic messages about Amber. The messages were made public in February 2020 when they were read aloud during a preliminary hearing for the trial.
