'Girls5eva' Season 3 - 4 Cast Members to Return!

Girls5eva is coming back this month.

Netflix confirmed that Season 3 of the series will debut on Thursday (February 15).

The series centers around the surviving members of a one-hit wonder girl group from the ’90s who reunite in the present to try their hand at pop stardom one more time, all while juggling the responsibilities of adulthood (spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain).

The first two seasons of Girls5eva premiered on Peacock, but Netflix will now release the show’s third season on March 14, as well as releasing Seasons 1 and 2.

Sara Bareilles & 'Girls5eva' Cast Give Surprise Performance at Season 3 Premiere in NYC!

The stars of Girls5eva had the best time at the premiere of their third season!

Sara Bareilles, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, and Paula Pell gave a surprise performance outside the Paris Theatre on Thursday night (March 7) in New York City.

The four actresses dressed in matching black outfits for the one-night-only performance on the red carpet.

Also in attendance at the premiere were co-stars Richard Kind, Daniel Breaker, and Thomas Doherty, as well as executive producer Tina Fey. Sara was joined by her fiance Joe Tippett.

All six episodes of Girls5eva premiere Thursday, March 14 globally on Netflix, with previously released Seasons 1 & 2 and brand new Season 3. The show previously aired on Peacock.

Sara Bareilles Debuts New Engagement Ring from Fiance Joe Tippett, One Year After Getting Engaged

Sara Bareilles has been engaged to actor Joe Tippett for the past year, but she only just picked up her engagement ring!

The 44-year-old Grammy-winning singer met Joe, 41, when he was cast in her musical Waitress during the original out-of-town run in Boston back in 2015 and they’ve been together ever since. You can see them starring opposite each other in the filmed version of Waitress, which is now available on digital HD.

Sara shared photos of her new engagement ring on Instagram and shared the touching story behind the ring.

“We have been engaged for a year and this is the ring we chose- we picked it up yesterday,” she began.

'Girls5eva' Gets Season 3 First Look After Moving to Netflix, Premiere Date Revealed

Girls5Eva just got a first look at the show’s upcoming third season!

In case you missed it, the musical comedy series is making the move from Peacock to Netflix, and now we know when it will premiere.

Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell and Busy Philipps will all be reprising their roles for the new season, which counts Tina Fey and husband Jeff Richmond as executive producers.

'Waitress' Movie Exceeds Box Office Expectations, Extends Theatrical Run Through Holiday Season

The filmed version of Broadway’s Waitress: The Musical was a surprise hit at the box office this past weekend and now the movie will stay in theaters longer than expected!

Sara Bareilles leads the cast of the musical, which she wrote for the stage. The show opened on Broadway back in 2016 and closed in January 2020. The musical returned to Broadway for a limited engagement in late 2021, which is when the show was filmed for theatrical release.

Bleecker Street Pictures and Fathom Events teamed up for the theatrical release and the original plan was for the film to be in theaters for just 5 days.

In the first four days of release, the movie has grossed $3.5 million at the box office.

Sara Bareilles & Maggie Rogers Perform 'Waitress' Duet at UNICEF Gala

Sara Bareilles and Maggie Rogers hit the stage together at the 2023 UNICEF Gala held on Giving Tuesday (November 28) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The two singers both performed solo and united for a duet of the song “She Used to Be Mine” from the Broadway musical Waitress, which Sara, of course, wrote the music for.

Sara also sang her songs “Orpheus” and “Brave,” while Maggie sang her hit “Light On.”

Other stars in attendance at the event were UNICEF Ambassador Sofia Carson, who served as host, All the Light We Cannot See‘s Aria Mia Loberti, gymnast Laurie Hernandez, and fashion designer Christian Siriano.

The annual event “tribute to the remarkable UNICEF staff around the globe who won’t stop working until every child is healthy, educated, protected and respected.”

FYI: Aria is wearing a Dior dress and shoes, with Gray & Davis jewelry.
