Ryan Gosling is taking over the streets of New York City for a sketch.

The 43-year-old Oscar-nominated actor filmed a sketch for Saturday Night Live on Friday night (April 12).

For his time on set, Ryan sported longer hair while wearing glasses, a red jacket, and a black tie.

Ryan was joined on set by SNL cast member Sarah Sherman, who wore a multicolored fuzzy coat.

Ryan will be hosting Saturday Night Live for the third time on Saturday, April 13 with Chris Stapleton serving as the musical guest.

In a new interview, Ryan explained why he initially turned down performing “I Am Ken” from Barbie at the 2024 Oscars.

Ryan will next be starring alongside Emily Blunt in the upcoming action flick The Fall Guy, which hits theaters on May 3 – watch the trailer here!

Kristen Wiig got initiated into the Five-Timers Club with a star-studded opening monologue during the April 6 episode of Saturday Night Live!

The Palm Royale actress and SNL cast alum is taking over the popular late-night show with musical guest Raye tonight.

It’s an honor to host Saturday Night Live even once. However, some celebrities are so good at the gig that they get invited back again. And again.

Since the late-night show debuted all the way back in 1975, an exclusive club of recurring hosts has developed. Members are initiated once they’ve hosted at least five episodes.

Hence, they become a member of the Five-Timers Club. You gain entry to the club (and get a cool jacket to commemorate the occasion) after your fifth gig.

It’s such an exclusive group that only 24 members have joined in nearly 50 years. Impressively, two of them joined the club in 2023 alone, and another is doing so on April 6, 2024.

Hosting the show five times is impressive, but some of the members have taken over the show even more times.

Kristen Wiig is back as the Target Lady!

The beloved actress first originated the role in an episode of Saturday Night Live back in 2005 and she played the role nine times over the years, including when she hosted back in 2013.

Now, Target is actually paying Kristen to play the role for a new ad!

The ad has been timed for Target’s Circle Week.

“I’m on the clock and ready to rock!” Target Lady says in the ad. “It’s Target Circle Week!”

Sarah Sherman and Chloe Troast, two of Saturday Night Live‘s current female stars, are reacting to a viral TikTok video that claimed the show never hires hot women.

TikTok user @Jahelis sparked controversy when she uploaded a video in which she questioned the looks of SNL stars.

“Am I the only person who’s ever noticed that SNL has never hired a, like, hot woman?” she asked, adding that she’s “not saying that every single woman on SNL is ugly, it’s just that none of them have ever been, like, hot. They all just kind of have looks that eventually grow on you.”

Sarah and Chloe are two of the newer stars of SNL and they’ve both reacted to the video.

Ramy Youssef called for an end in the conflict between Israel and Palestine during his opening monologue on the March 30 episode of Saturday Night Live.

The comedian and Poor Things actor is hosting the latest episode of the popular late-night show, which features musical guest Travis Scott.

During his monologue, Ramy addressed the conflict and called for a ceasefire in Gaza.

The 68-year-old actor recently featured in Yorgos Lanthimos‘ Poor Things, which won four Oscars.

SNL 1975 will tell the origin story of the popular late night show. Directed by Jason Reitman, the film will star Dylan O’Brien, Finn Wolfhard, Rachel Sennott, J.K. Simmons, Nicholas Braun, Kaia Gerber, Ella Hunt, and more.

On Friday (March 29), it was confirmed that Willem will also be part of the cast!
