Lizzo Channels 'Sister Act 2' With 'Juice' Performance at MTV Movie & TV Awards 2019 (Video)

Lizzo pays tribute to 1993′s Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit at the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards!

The 31-year-old “Truth Hurts” singer took the stage for an powerful performance of “Juice” at the event held at Barker Hangar on Saturday (June 15) in Santa Monica, Calif.

She donned choir robes similar to Lauryn Hill‘s character’s, Rita Watson, sampling the movie’s “Joyful, Joyful.”

“Lizzo says take off your robes,” Lizzo‘s backup singers are then told off-stage. Watch below to find out what happened next!
