Gerard Butler Takes Bike Ride To The Beach After 'Kandahar' Movie News Is Announced

Gerard Butler chats with a friend while out on a sunny Monday evening (June 22) in Venice, Calif.

The 50-year-old actor, who wore a Rad ballcap, rode his bike down to the beach for an evening bike ride where he ran into a couple of pals.

That same day, it was announced that Gerard would be re-teaming with his Angel Has Fallen director Ric Roman Waugh for a new action thriller movie, called Kandahar.

The movie centers on an undercover CIA operative whose classified mission is exposed. Now, he and his translator must fight their way out of the desert to an extraction point in Kandahar, while eluding the elite special forces hunting them.
