Warner Bros. Delays Timothee Chalamet's Upcoming Movie 'Dune' Until October 2021

Dune has officially been delayed – until October 2021.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary have taken the movie off the planned December 18 release schedule and moved it until October next year, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

The news comes after the studio has delayed many more movies due to the pandemic. It was also just announced that Cineworld has shut down more theaters across the country as well.

The movie, directed by Denis Villeneuve, is set in a far future focuses on Paul Atreides as he leads nomadic tribes in a battle to control the desert planet Arrakis.

Dune stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Zendaya, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Jason Momoa, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, David Dastmalchian, Charlotte Rampling and Stellan Skarsgård.
