Lori Loughlin Reports to Prison, Begins 2 Month Sentence for College Admissions Scandal

On August 21, Lori Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison after pleading guilty to being involved in the nationwide college admissions cheating scandal. Today (October 30), she reported to a federal prison in Northern California to begin serving her sentence, NBC News reports.

She was actually weeks early for her arrival to the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California. She was supposed to report on November 19, according to the judge in her case.

This is the same prison that Felicity Huffman served time in for her role in the scandal. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, there are no visitors allowed. You can find out how Lori feels about serving time amid the pandemic right here.

When Lori is released, she has to pay a fine of $150,000 and complete 100 hours of community service.
