Jennifer Lopez's 'Marry Me' Release Pushed Back Due to Pandemic

Jennifer Lopez‘s new movie is going to come out later than anticipated.

Marry Me, her rom-com featuring Owen Wilson, Maluma, Sarah Silverman, Jameela Jamil and Jimmy Fallon, is now coming out on May 14, 2021 amid the pandemic, Variety reported Tuesday (November 10).

The movie was originally scheduled to be released on February 12, 2021, which was originally when Universal and DreamWorks planned to release Spirit Untamed. That movie was moved to June 4.

Here’s a plot summary: “Lopez portrays a music superstar who marries a complete stranger (Owen Wilson) during one of her concerts after finding out her partner (played by Latin musician Maluma) is cheating on her.”
