Tyler Perry Actually Flew To Georgia To Cast His Vote in The Runoff Election After Not Receiving His Absentee Ballot

Tyler Perry made sure his vote in the Georgia runoff elections counted.

The 51-year-old filmmaker actually flew to the state of Georgia to cast his vote after he didn’t receive his absentee ballot.

“All right, my absentee ballot never came, so I just left voting in person, so y’all get out and vote, get out and vote, get out and vote,” he told fans in a video on Twitter.

The New York Times added to his video, sharing that Tyler hoped on a “flight from Wyoming to Georgia late Monday to vote in person” just ahead of the polls opening on Tuesday, January 5.

Tyler was one of the many casting his vote again in the runoffs, which will go to determine if Republicans or Democrats will control the Senate.

The race is between Democrats Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff and Republicans David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler.

Earlier this week, Nancy Pelosi was sworn in again as the Speaker of the House for the 117th Congress.
