Sarah Michelle Gellar Celebrates Buffy Summers' 40th Birthday

Sarah Michelle Gellar rocks a pair of leather-like pants while arriving for a workout in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (January 19).

The 43-year-old actress stopped for a chat with a friend after her private workout with two cups of coffee to go.

That same day, Sarah was one of the many who celebrated Buffy Summers birthday. She famously played the character in Buffy The Vampire Slayer television series.

“I just realized that today is Buffy Summers 40 bday,” Sarah captioned with a throwback picture from the series from the pilot episode “I can’t even believe that. She taught that the the hardest thing in the world is to live in it. So in her honor let’s all be brave. Live.”

She added, “This may not be the way we are used to living our lives, but let’s find the beauty. So we can all live long and safely.”

At the end of last year, Buffy’s love life came into question when Stacey Abrams revealed which guy she liked better for the character, Angel or Spike.
