'Harry Potter' Live Action TV Show In Early Development!

A Harry Potter live-action TV series is in early development at HBO Max!

Sources tell THR that the streamed has “engaged in multiple conversations with potential writers exploring various ideas.” Apparently, “broad ideas have been discussed.”

While sources are speaking out about this, THR is emphasizing that it is in very early stages and no deals are actually in place at this time. “There are no Harry Potter series in development at the studio or on the streaming platform,” HBO Max and Warner Bros. said in a statement.

While no actors are attached to this project at this time, one former Harry Potter left the door open for an eventual return!
