Billy Porter is all smiles while holding onto his award on the carpet at the Walt Disney Television 2019 Emmy Awards After Party held on Sunday (September 22) in Los Angeles.

The 50-year-old Pose star won the Outstanding Lead Actor in A Drama Series award for his work on the hit FX show!

In the process, Billy becomes the first openly gay black man to win lead actor in a drama.

“We have the power to create empathy through the way we tell stories. I know that being black and gay and out and being in this position and speaking from where I get to speak from is the change,” Billy expressed backstage after receiving his award (via GMA). “I hope that young queer people of all colors can look at me and know [gets emotional] that they can.”

Phoebe Waller-Bridge will not reconsider giving Fleabag a third season, even after the show’s amazing night at the 2019 Emmy Awards.

“To be honest this feels like the most beautiful way to say goodbye to it actually. It does feel like the story is complete. It is so nice to hear that so many people loved it, it’s like maybe she shouldn’t have waved goodbye at the end… but it feels like the right way to end it, to go out on a high,” Phoebe said (via Deadline) after the show won big at the Emmys.

Mandy Moore is gorgeous as she strikes a pose in a two-piece ensemble at the Walt Disney Television 2019 Emmy Awards After Party held on Sunday (September 22) in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old This Is Us star switched up her look from the main red carpet to the after party, but kept the red and pink color combination consistent.

Game of Thrones beat out This Is Us for the Outstanding Drama Series prize this year.

While on the carpet, Mandy opened up about returning to music with her single “When I Wasn’t Watching“: “I’m so overwhelmed and heartened that people even know or still care that I make music, because I really truly am still doing it selfishly for me,” she told People. “I miss it, I miss writing, I miss performing, I miss the whole thing, so it feels really really good to be back there.”

“It’s not a bad deal, I feel incredibly lucky,” Mandy continued. “I am just soaking in every second of this particular moment.”

Sophie Turner was nominated for an Emmy Award last night, but her husband Joe Jonas was not in attendance alongside her.

Well, there’s a very good reason why he was missing! The Jonas Brothers are currently on tour and that same evening, they had a show in Kansas City, Missouri. So the JoBros couldn’t support Sophie at the Emmys!

Joe wrote Sophie a message on Instagram Story, saying, “I am so proud of you. You are nominated for an Emmy! You are incredible. I love you.”

Sophie did not end up winning that night and lost to Ozark’s Julia Garner.

Game of Thrones did have a huge night at the Emmys, though!

Red and pink was a huge color combination at the 2019 Emmy Awards!

Several actresses wore dresses of the color combination as they attended the awards show on Sunday (September 22) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Two of those actresses were This Is Us co-stars Mandy Moore and Susan Kelechi Watson.

But don’t worry – there was no jealousy between the two ladies because they loved that they were “twinning” on the purple carpet!

“Always happy to be here and twinning with my girl, @susankelechiwatson.💓 Thanks for having us,” Mandy wrote on Instagram along with a few photos of herself and Susan bumping into each other on the carpet.

Susan then posted the photos on her own Instagram, adding the caption, “No one else Id rather twin with❤💖❤💗!”
