Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper obviously grew close while filming their movie A Star Is Born, so people have been trying to pit Gaga against Bradley‘s longtime partner Irina Shayk for a while now.

Fans seem to think that the love story from the movie has translated into an off-screen romance and Gaga and Bradley‘s intimate performance at the Oscars added fuel to the fire.

Mel B even said that she felt “so uncomfortable for Bradley‘s girlfriend” while watching the performance.

Well, Irina definitely was not feeling uncomfortable as she only had love for Gaga after the performance. When the co-stars arrived back at their seats, the two ladies shared a big hug that should put any rumors to rest!

Green Book writer Nick Vallelonga addressed the controversy surrounding the movie’s win in the Best Picture category at the 2019 Oscars.

Specifically, if you don’t know, the family of the late Don Shirley (played by Oscar winner Mahershala Ali in the movie) were not happy with the film and cited there were several inconsistencies.

“If you’re discussing the Don Shirley family thing, that falls on me, but Don Shirley himself told me to not speak to anyone. He told me the story he wanted to tell. He protected his private life, and all the other things about him, miraculous things about him. He was an amazing man.” Nick said. If you don’t know, Nick is the son of Tony “Lip” Vallelonga (played by Viggo Mortensen). “He told me, ‘If you’re going to tell the story, you tell it from your father, me, no one else. Don’t speak to anyone else. That’s how you have to make it. And also, he told me, ‘Don’t make it until after I pass away.’ So I just kept my word to that man.”

He continued, “I wish I could have reached out to Don Shirley’s family. I didn’t even know they really existed until after we were making the film. I personally was not allowed to speak to his family, per Don Shirley’s wishes. I’m an Italian from New York. They call that a stand up guy. I kept my word to the man.”

The 2019 Oscars ratings are in, and viewership grew by 12% from last year!

The ABC broadcast totaled 29.7 million viewers, compared to the 2018 telecast, which brought in 26.5 million viewers. To offer additional comparison, the 2019 Grammys had 9.7 million viewers and the 2019 Golden Globes had 11.0 million viewers.

This year’s show featured a major change from last year. This year, the Academy went forward without a host and just had a lot of celebrity presenters take the stage throughout the evening to move the show along.

Mel B thought Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga‘s 2019 Oscars performance of “Shallow” was uncomfortable – mainly because Bradley‘s girlfriend Irina Shayk was sitting right in the front row.

“See, I felt so uncomfortable for Bradley’s girlfriend, oh my gosh,” Mel B said during an appearance on Good Morning Britain about the A Star Is Born co-stars on Monday (February 25).

Co-host Piers Morgan responded, “It was the look of love, wasn’t it?”

Then Mel B said, “It really was and that’s the whole gossip. That’s the whole thing. But I would like to think it was part of the whole performance, because there’s a women’s code and hopefully that’s not… hopefully it’s only professional.”

Then, Piers said, “Lady Gaga taking her engagement ring off – she just broke off from her fiance – and if you put the maths together, you have engagement ring off, and then staring at Bradley Cooper in a way that I would say crosses a few lines.”

The 39-year-old Glass actor had celebs at the Oscars sign his shirt for charity. Among the stars we can see are Samuel L. Jackson, Frances McDormand, and Queer Eye‘s Karamo Brown.

On his Instagram page, James posted a selfie and tagged more stars like Charlize Theron, Michael B. Jordan, and Sarah Paulson.

“Went to the Oscars. Presented. Got mugged by sharpie wielding celebrities. #thuglebrity I’m sure my shirt is going to be defaced by more of these entitled graffiti mentalists as the night goes on,” he captioned the photo.

James reportedly plans on auctioning the shirt off for charity!

Rami Malek had a little mishap after accepting his award for Best Actor at the 2019 Academy Awards on Sunday (February 24) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 37-year-old actor fell off the stage after the show had already concluded and he was treated by paramedics.

Rami seemed surprised by his tumble and was seen doing his best to hold on to his Oscar statue. After falling to the floor, Rami was moved to a seat in the front row and he was evaluated by paramedics.

Thankfully, Rami didn’t appear to be hurt when he went to the press room a few minutes later.
