Angelina Jolie has a new tattoo, and there’s a special meaning behind it!
In case you weren’t aware, the 48-year-old actress recently celebrated the opening of Broadway’s The Outsiders, for which she serves as a producer.
While appearing at the musical’s opening night on Thursday (April 11) in New York City, Angelina showed off a new tattoo on her forearm, and it references The Outsiders!

Sara Bareilles is telling Broadway critics to “f–k” off after attending the opening night performance of the new musical Lempicka.
The Tony-nominated and Grammy-winning entertainer was among the celebs in the audience for the opening of the new show on Sunday night (April 14) at the Longacre Theatre in New York City.
Also in attendance were Anna Wintour and daughter Bee Shaffer, Jesse Eisenberg, Dylan Mulvaney, and others. Make sure to see photos of the cast on the red carpet too!

Lempicka is officially open on Broadway and there was a Wicked reunion on opening night!
Eden Espinosa received support from fellow Wicked alum Shoshana Bean at the opening night performance of her new musical on Sunday (April 14) at the Longacre Theatre in New York City.
For those who don’t know, Eden and Shoshana both got their big breaks as the standby for Elphaba during Idina Menzel‘s run in Wicked on Broadway. Both of them later became full-time Elphaba stars and had long runs in the beloved musical.
Eden is now leading the ambitious new show Lempicka, one of the only fully original musicals of the season. She was joined on the red carpet by co-stars Amber Iman, Beth Leavel, Andrew Samonsky, George Abud, Natalie Joy Johnson, Nathaniel Stampley, and Zoe Glick.
Also in attendance was Andrew‘s wife Kate Reinders, best known for starring in the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. (Make sure to read our 10 Fun Facts post about Andrew!)
Spanning decades of political and personal turmoil and told through a thrilling, pop-infused score, Lempicka boldly explores the contradictions of a world in crisis, a woman ahead of her era, and an artist whose time has finally come. Directed by Rachel Chavkin and produced by Jenny Niederhoffer, the musical features a new score by Carson Kreitzer and Matt Gould.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s daughter Vivienne made a very rare red carpet appearance with her mom for opening night of the Broadway play The Outsiders.
If you were unaware, the mother-daughter pair worked as producers of the play (an adaptation of the 1983 movie of the same same). They celebrated its grand opening at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on Thursday (April 11) in New York City.

The Broadway musical The Outsiders will celebrate its official opening night this week and the production has released a stunning set of photos.
The musical is adapted from S.E. Hinton‘s seminal book and Francis Ford Coppola‘s iconic movie. The story is set in 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and follows Ponyboy Curtis, his best friend Johnny Cade and their Greaser family of “outsiders” as they battle with their affluent rivals, the Socs.
Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt joined the producing team after they fell in love with the musical during its pre-Broadway run in La Jolla, California last year.
“Viv reminds me of my mother in that she isn’t focused on being the center of attention but in being a support to other creatives,” Angelina told People. “She’s very thoughtful and serious about theatre and working hard to best understand how to contribute.”

Andrew stars as Lempicka’s husband, Tadeusz, a role he created in the original production. He’s previously been seen on Broadway in South Pacific, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Scandalous.
