Succession's Juliana Canfield Gets Support from Castmates at Opening Night of Broadway's New Hit Play 'Stereophonic'

The Broadway play Stereophonic is officially open and it’s expected to be the big hit of the season!

Juliana Canfield, best known for her work on HBO’s Succession, is a member of the ensemble cast and she walked the red carpet at the opening night show on Friday (April 19) at the Golden Theatre in New York City.

The cast also includes Tom Pecinka, Sarah Pidgeon, Eli Gelb, Andrew R. Butler, Chris Stack, and Will Brill.

Juliana was supported by her Succession castmates J. Smith-Cameron, Zoe Winters, and David Rasche at the opening night performances.

Some of the other celebs in attendance included Rachel Brosnahan, Sadie Sink, Louisa Jacobson, Taran Killam and Cobie Smulders, Dylan Mulvaney, Common, and Christian Slater, among others. Check out photos in the gallery!

Stereophonic, written by David Adjmi, takes place in a music studio in 1976 as an up-and-coming rock band recording a new album finds itself suddenly on the cusp of superstardom. The ensuing pressures could spark their breakup — or their breakthrough. Arcade Fire‘s Will Butler wrote original songs for the play!

Nichelle Lewis Makes Broadway Debut in 'The Wiz,' Gets Support from Big Stars at Opening Night Show!

The Broadway revival of The Wiz is officially open!

Nichelle Lewis is playing the lead role of Dorothy in the beloved musical and she looked gorgeous in green while attending the opening night party on Wednesday (April 17) in New York City.

The Broadway newcomer was joined at the celebration by co-stars Wayne Brady, Deborah Cox, Melody A. Betts, Kyle Ramar Freeman, Phillip Johnson Richardson, and Avery Wilson at the opening night celebration. The opening comes two months after the show played in Los Angeles for the final stop of the North American tour.

Some of the celebs who were in attendance at the opening included Hillary Clinton, Anna Wintour, engaged couple Ben Platt and Noah Galvin, LaChanze, Ben Vereen, Peppermint, Sherri Shepherd, Tamron Hall, Common, Leslie Uggams, and writer Amber Ruffin.

'Silo' Season 2 - 1 Cast Member Confirmed, 5 More Likely Returning!

Silo is coming back!

The hit Apple TV+ sci-fi series was renewed for Season 2 back in June of 2023, but faced a delay amid the Hollywood strikes.

However, one of the show’s stars provided a promising update, revealing that the second season finished shooting at the beginning of March 2024.

In the series, men and women live in a giant silo underground with several regulations which they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic and ruined world on the surface.

We now know at least one star who’s definitely back on the cast of Season 2, and at least a handful of other stars we’re expecting back as well.

Common is making an appearance on girlfriend Jennifer Hudson‘s talk show, The Jennifer Hudson Show!

The 51-year-old rapper and actor will be her guest on her Monday (January 22) episode, and a preview of the ep shows the pair alluding to their relationship, without outright saying they are dating each other.

While on the show, the two, who were recently seen sitting courtside at a Lakers game, shared that they are both happy in their relationship and said some really sweet things about each other.

Jennifer Hudson & Common Spotted Holding Hands During NBA Date Night

Jennifer Hudson and Common are still going strong as a couple!

The 42-year-old EGOT winner and the 51-year-old musician were spotted holding hands as they arrived for an NBA date night on Wednesday (January 17) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Jennifer and Common sat in courtside seats to watch the Los Angeles Lakers face off against the Dallas Mavericks.

The outing comes just one week after they attended the basketball game between the Toronto Raptors and the Los Angeles Clippers, also at the same arena. You can see those courtside photos in the gallery!

Romance rumors about Jennifer and Common have been swirling since 2022 and she commented on her relationship back in November, despite not naming her boyfriend.
