Danny Aiello has sadly died.
The Academy Award-nominated actor, known for his roles in films like Do the Right Thing, Bang the Drum Slowly and The Godfather: Part II, passed away on Thursday night (December 12) at the age of 86 at a New Jersey medical facility after a sudden illness, his family confirmed to TMZ on Friday (December 13).
He also starred in Fort Apache the Bronx, Once Upon a Time in America and Moonstruck.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sandy Cohen, and their four children.
