Drew Brees is giving some great advice to Ellen DeGeneres, while also paying her a huge compliment.
In an upcoming interview airing on Friday (May 20), the 43-year-old retired NFL quarterback made his 20th and final appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
During his interview, Drew shared some advice with Ellen about what to do once her show comes to an end next week.

Drew Brees has announced that he is retiring from the NFL and he had help from his four kids while revealing the news to the world.
The 42-year-old football player, who has been the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints since 2006, shared the news in an Instagram post on Sunday (March 14).
In the video, Drew‘s four kids – Baylen, Bowen, Callen, and Rylen – announced, “After 15 years with the Saints and 20 years in the NFL, our dad is finally gonna retire. So he can spend more time with us! Yeah!!”
“After 20 years as a player in the NFL and 15 years as a Saint, it is time I retire from the game of football. Each day, I poured my heart & soul into being your Quarterback,” Drew wrote in his post. “Til the very end, I exhausted myself to give everything I had to the Saints organization, my team, and the great city of New Orleans. We shared some amazing moments together, many of which are emblazoned in our hearts and minds and will forever be a part of us. You have molded me, strengthened me, inspired me, and given me a lifetime of memories. My goal for the last 15 years was striving to give to you everything you had given to me and more.”
He concluded, “I am only retiring from playing football, I am not retiring from New Orleans. This is not goodbye, rather a new beginning. Now my real life‘s work begins!”
Drew is the NFL’s all-time leader in career passing yards and he was a Super Bowl champion in 2010.
Longtime NFL stars Tom Brady and Drew Brees played against each other this weekend and they shared a touching moment after the game.
The guys spent time with Drew‘s kids on the field after the game on Sunday (January 17) at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La.
Tom‘s team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, beat Drew‘s team, the New Orleans Saints, and will move on to the NFC Championship Game this coming weekend.
Drew and his four kids – sons Baylen, 12, Bowen, 10, and Callen, 8, and daughter Rylen, 6 – were all on the field with him while spending some quality time with Tom after the game.
Tom threw a touchdown pass to one of the boys and the moment was caught on video. While walking away, Tom was heard telling one of the boys, “Be nice to your sister.”

Drew Brees‘ children might be getting exactly what they want for Christmas this year.
During the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints football game today (December 20) it was revealed that Drew‘s children – sons Baylen, Bowen, Callen and daughter Rylen - really want a Patrick Mahomes Chiefs jersey and autograph.
Patrick is expecting his first child with fiancee Brittany Matthews.
The news was announced during the game and fans had a lot of reactions to the news.

The game also marked Drew‘s return to the field after sustaining broken ribs and a collapsed lung earlier this year. Fans didn’t seem impressed with his game play though, and urged the coaches to bench him on social media.
However, it looks like he was protected on the field with some major padding.
