Meet Fin Argus, the Breakout Star of Disney+'s 'Clouds,' with These 10 Fun Facts! (Exclusive)

Fin Argus is the breakout star of the new movie Clouds, which is now streaming on Disney+, and we caught up with the young actor to learn more about him!

The 22-year-old actor was previously seen in Fox’s The Gifted and the YouTube series The Commute. Clouds marks his feature film debut.

Clouds is based on the true story of Zach Sobiech (who Fin plays in the film), a musically gifted 17-year old living with a rare bone cancer (osteosarcoma). The film follows Zach’s journey over the course of his senior year as he navigates the complexities of love, friendship, family and leaving behind a musical legacy.

Get to know Fin right now with these 10 Fun Facts:

  1. I spent the majority of 2019, prior to filming Clouds, working on an urban farm in Los Angeles taking care of goats, chickens, and a huge pig named Nelly.
  2. The number of songs I have written since starting at the age of ten reaches into the hundreds! The writing style is ever evolving, and I like to look back and see how much it has changed from the first song, to now.
  3. Madison Iseman, who plays my girlfriend Amy in Clouds, has actually been my dear friend since I was 15. You can even see her play opposite me in my first ever music video for my song “Make Me Cry.”
  4. One of my favorite sports is rock climbing! I’ve gone on many trips to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky to camp and spend every day scaling mountains.
  5. Throughout the past year or so, I have gotten very into upcycling old clothing by cutting up garments and adding designs via paint, patches, or stitching. I hope to start a line of fully upcycled clothing in an effort to reuse materials that might otherwise go to waste.

Sabrina Carpenter & Fin Argus Are Best Friend Goals in Disney+'s New 'Clouds' Trailer - Watch Now!

Fin Argus gets submerged in water in the new trailer for Disney+‘s upcoming movie, Clouds.

Here’s the official summary for the movie: Zach Sobiech is a fun-loving high school student with raw musical talent living with osteosarcoma, a rare bone cancer. At the start of his senior year, he is ready to take on the world, however when he receives the news that the disease has spread, he and his best friend and songwriting partner, Sammy (Sabrina Carpenter), decide to spend Zach’s limited time following their dreams.

With the help of Zach’s mentor and teacher, Mr. Weaver (Lil Rel Howery), Zach and Sammy are given the chance of a lifetime and are offered a record deal.

Along with the support of the love of his life, Amy (Madison Iseman) and his parents, Rob and Laura (Tom Everett Scott and Neve Campbell); Zach embarks on an unforgettable journey about friendship, love and the power of music.

Clouds is based on the true story of Zach‘s life and is directed by Justin Baldoni.

The film will start streaming on Friday, October 16.

Sabrina Carpenter's Movie 'Clouds' Is Going Directly to Disney+

Clouds, the upcoming movie from director Justin Baldoni and starring Sabrina Carpenter, will go directly to Disney+ instead of getting a theatrical release.

The streaming service has bought the rights to the inspirational drama, marking the first narrative film acquisition for the Disney+ Global Content team.

Clouds is the true story of Zach Sobiech, a musically gifted 17-year old living with a rare bone cancer (osteosarcoma). The film follows Zach’s journey over the course of his senior year as he navigates the complexities of love, friendship, family and leaving behind a musical legacy.

The film stars newcomer Fin Argus as Zach Sobiech, Sabrina as his best friend and bandmate Sammy, Madison Iseman as Zach’s girlfriend Amy, and Thomas Everett Scott and Neve Campbell as his parents, Laura and Rob.

“I fell in love with Zach’s infectious joy and spirit seven years ago when I made a short documentary about his life. Just before he passed, I made a promise to him that I would do whatever I could to make sure the world heard his music,” Justin said in a statement. “In the age of COVID-19, with the future of the theatre business up in the air, it was extremely important to me to ensure Zach’s message of hope, faith and triumph in the face of adversity truly had the opportunity to touch as many hearts around the world as possible. That’s why I’m so excited to be partnering with Disney+ for my first film under our Wayfarer Studios banner, as it’s the perfect home and platform to bring Zach’s incredible story to the world.”

Clouds will be released on Disney+ in the fall.
