Netflix has announced the premiere date, along with a teaser trailer and official artwork, for its upcoming series The Innocents!

Season one of the British teen supernatural drama will hit the streaming service on August 24.

Here’s the synopsis: When teenagers Harry (Percelle Ascott) and June (Sorcha Groundsell) run away from their repressive families to be together, they’re derailed by an extraordinary discovery – June’s ability to shape-shift.

As the star-crossed lovers struggle to control this strange new power, a mysterious professor reveals that June is not alone: there are more shifters out there like her, and he promises to cure June and reunite her with the mother who deserted her three years ago. But as their journey becomes increasingly fraught with danger, Harry and June’s love for each other is tested to breaking point and they’re faced with a choice: keep their innocent dream alive, or embrace that their lives have changed and risk everything.

Guy Pearce also stars.

The Innocents was created and written by Hania Elkington and Simon Duric, who also executive produce along with Farren Blackburn. Farren directed six of the eight episodes.

Guy Pearce walked the red carpet for the premiere of his new movie Swinging Safari today (December 12), so we figured it’s the perfect time to share some hot photos of him on the set of the film!

The 50-year-old actor bared his hot body while going shirtless and wearing just a tiny swimsuit for filming on the Gold Coast of Australia in October 2016.

Guy was joined on set by co-stars including Kylie Minogue and Julian McMahon, who also showed off his body in a colorful speedo.

Swinging Safari, while will hit theaters in Australia on January 18, is about a teenager who comes of age in a small Australian town during the 1970s when a 200-ton blue whale gets washed up on a local beach.

If you didn’t know, Guy and Kylie have been friends for over 30 years after starring on the Aussie soap opera series Neighbours together.

Kylie Minogue dazzles as she hits the orange carpet at the world premiere of her latest film Swinging Safari held on Tuesday (December 12) in Sydney, Australia.

The 49-year-old entertainer was joined at the event by her co-stars Guy Pearce, Asher Keddie, Radha Mitchell, Jeremy Sims, Jack Thompson, Julian McMahon, and director Stephan Elliott.

The longtime friends were seen heading from her home to the restaurant, where they enjoyed dinner and some flamenco dancing.

Guy and Kylie have known each other for over 30 years, ever since starring alongside each other on the Australian soap opera series Neighbours, which launched both of their careers. They reunited on screen last year in the movie Flammable Children, which is being released this year.

Dustin Lance Black is addressing the criticism his new show When We Rise is facing from the conservative alt-right members.

The 42-year-old director and producer spoke about the “attacks” his show about the gay movement is facing from online critics while at the 2017 Winter Television Critics Association Press Tour at the Langham Hotel on Tuesday (January 10) in Pasadena, Calif.

“This show is not a war,” Dustin said. “We are not against anyone. Every single person in this world is a minority in one way or another. It just depends on how you slice the pie. And this show tells us how we are related.”

The alt-right community is associated with the conservative movement associated with racisim, bigotry, and white nationalism.

“I’m not entirely surprised,” Dustin said. “We know that history is not a straight line. We know that history is a pendulum. I knew this kind of moment might happen. I’m grateful for ABC’s courage. I’m grateful for everyone up on the stage and all the artists that helped make this, because I do think it’s a necessary conversation to have right now.”

When We Rise premieres Monday, February 27 on ABC.

Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black has written every episode of the upcoming event series When We Rise for ABC and the first trailer has been released!

The seven-episode mini-series stars Guy Pearce, Mary-Louise Parker, Rachel Griffiths, Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie O’Donnell, and more. It is set to premiere in February.

When We Rise chronicles the personal and political struggles, set-backs and triumphs of a diverse family of LGBT men and women who helped pioneer one of the last legs of the U.S. Civil Rights movement from its turbulent infancy in the 20th century to the once unfathomable successes of today. The period piece tells the history of the gay rights movement, starting with the Stonewall Riots in 1969.

Also in the cast are Carrie Preston, Michael Kenneth Williams, Jonathan Majors, and young Broadway talent Emily Skeggs and Austin McKenzie.

“After 3.5 years of hard work by so many dedicated souls, I’m thrilled to share the first trailer for #WhenWeRise,” Dustin wrote on Facebook.
