The Richest 'Charmed' Cast Members, Ranked From Lowest to Highest Net Worth

Charmed is one of the biggest shows of the ’90s and ’00s.

The series, which premiered on The WB for eight seasons from October 1998 through May of 2006, centers around three sisters with unique magical powers, also known as the Charmed Ones, who are the most powerful good witches in the world. Using their powers (the Power of Three!), they protect the world from evil.

The first three seasons featured Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe Halliwell (Alyssa Milano) as the trio, until Shannen left in 2001, being replaced by Rose McGowan as the long-lost younger half-sister Paige Matthews in Season 4.

By 2018, the series got a reboot at The CW, which ran for four seasons until May of 2022.

Alyssa Milano Responds to Claim She Had Shannen Doherty Fired From 'Charmed'

UPDATE: Alyssa addressed the situation again on Instagram and denied that she was involved in the firing.

Read her whole statement: “I don’t know one other show that has had the success that Charmed had where the cast still speaks ill of the experience a quarter of a century later. This is 15 movies and 13 TV shows ago for me. This was 11 years before my 15 year marriage and 13 years before having my first child. This was so long ago that any retelling of these stories from anyone is just revisionist history. I will add, though, with absolute certainty—everything was documented. There was a professional mediator (I was told Holly and Shannen would not participate in any mediation) and an on-set producer/babysitter who were both brought in to investigate all claims. It was then recommended by this mediator, after collecting testimony from cast AND crew—what changes should be made if the show was going to continue. The studio, Aaron Spelling, and network made the decision to protect the international hit that was Charmed. I did not have the power to get anyone fired. Once Shannen left we had 5 more successful seasons and I am forever grateful.”

She signed off by writing, “As always, I wish Holly, Shannen and Rose, peace and light in their personal and professional journeys. We all have bigger demons to fight. #letsbeclear #sorrynotsorry #charmed #AlyssaMilano.”

Alyssa Milano has officially waded into the renewed Charmed drama.

If you missed it, earlier this year Alyssa‘s former costar Holly Marie Combs addressed a long-standing rumor surrounding the show – that Alyssa got Shannen Doherty fired.

Holly told Shannen that the rumor was true and revealed what she was told by producers after Shannen‘s character was killed in the show’s third season.

A few weeks after the conversation went viral, Alyssa has responded.

Alyssa Milano & Holly Marie Combs React To 'Charmed' Producer's Explanation Of Why She Quit

Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs are responding to Krista Vernoff‘s explanation of why she left the original series as a producer.

In her interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Krista, who is the current showrunner of Grey’s Anatomy, opened up about leaving the long running WB turned CW series and says it was because she believed the network’s “objectifying notes” were leading her to create a show that was “bad for the world”.

“I signed on because Charmed was a girl-power show,” she shared. “About halfway through there was an episode where Alyssa Milano comes out in mermaid pasties and there was a huge spike in male viewership, and then every episode after, the question would come from the network, ‘How are we getting the girls naked this week?’” she recalled.

Krista went on, adding that the viewership numbers kept “going up, and there’s all this pressure. All I can think is, I’m creating something that’s now bad for the world, and I’ve had enough ‘bad for the world’ in my life.”

“My Charmed friends…I would like everyone to stop. Truth be told and it will be told is that our issues were and are at the corporate level. And we have the receipts. Just as the new cast were asked to be people they were not we were given ultimatums that were crazily unfair,” she wrote.

“And I will say to the ladies of the reboot…stick together…negotiate together and know that the discourse between us, you guys and crews being discarded and replaced is what they bank on. Division. That is all. Blessed be,” she continued.

“And for the last time I will say it’s not about any 1 person taking a job to support their families or themselves. It’s about an industry that sees us only as numbers whether it be follower #’s or $ signs. Cuz in the end and actually in the beginning that’s all we were/are. Cool.”

The latest tension occurred when Sarah Jeffery responded to Holly Marie Combs and Rose McGowan’s criticism of the new series. Here’s how Rose responded…
