Jim Carrey and Ben Schwartz share a laugh together while hitting the red carpet together at the UK Gala screening of their latest film Sonic The Hedgehog held at Vue Westfield on Thursday (January 30) in London, England.
The 58-year-old actor and Ben, 38, were joined at the event by the film’s director Jeff Fowler and producer Neal H. Moritz.
The film is a live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega that centers on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog. The film follows the (mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination.
Ben Schwartz stars as the voice of Sonic, with Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Neal McDonough, Adam Pally, and more – Watch a brand new clip here!
