Broadway star Jessica Vosk is making her return to Carnegie Hall to star in Get Happy: A Judy Garland Centennial Celebration!

The former Wicked and Fiddler on the Roof star will be paying tribute to the iconic Judy Garland TONIGHT (December 12), one year after she blew the roof off the venue during her debut Carnegie Hall concert in November 2021.

Jessica will bring Judy‘s songbook back to life, accompanied by an orchestra alongside rare performance footage of the late entertainer. She will be wearing original looks designed by Zac Posen during the concert.

“Judy is one of those magical unicorn icons that we will only ever see once in a lifetime. She is the reason that I am able to continue pushing boundaries and kicking down doors right now in my career. Without women like her paving the way, I venture to guess that many of us wouldn’t be where we are. I’m excited to sing a few of the songs from her actual 1961 Carnegie Hall, live show, one of which being the incredible ‘Come Rain, or Come Shine,’” Jessica told us about her show.

Katharine McPhee and David Foster are touring around the country right now to promote their holiday album and they surprised fans with some very special guests at their shows this past weekend!

The married couple performed a mix of music from David‘s Grammy-winning song catalog and their new album Christmas Songs, which is streaming everywhere right now.

Kat and Dave had four shows across the New York tri-state area and they took advantage of being so close to Broadway. Special guests at the shows included beloved musical theatre stars like Jessica Vosk.

David Foster, his wife Katharine McPhee, and their friends raised so much money this weekend!

The 16-time Grammy-winning songwriter and entertainer hosted the David Foster Foundation Gala: A Night on Broadway on Saturday (May 7) at Hotel X Toronto by Library Hotel Collection in Toronto, Canada.

The David Foster Foundation is dedicated to providing financial support to Canadian families with children in need of life-saving organ transplants. In addition to helping families with their non-medical expenses, the Foundation strives to increase public awareness and education about the importance of becoming a registered organ donor in Canada and the United States.

David, Kat, and their celeb friends performed songs from the Broadway songbook to raise money for the foundation’s incredible work. Joining them were Kat‘s Smash co-star Leslie Odom Jr., her Waitress co-star Erich Bergen, The Greatest Showman‘s Loren Allred, and Broadway stars Kara Lindsay and Jessica Vosk.

Shoshana Bean did something pretty epic for the virtual concert fundraiser she organized to support the high school she attended!

The Broadway star and singer was the second actress to play Elphaba in the musical Wicked and she gathered 10 other actresses who played the role to sing the act one finale number “Defying Gravity” with her.

Shoshana and the ten other women – Idina Menzel, Stephanie J. Block, Eden Espinosa, Jessica Vosk, Lindsay Mendez, Alexia Khadime, Julia Murney, Rachel Tucker, Kerry Ellis, and Lindsay Pearce – each sang a snippet from the song and then they all performed the final “ahhh” one after another.

The concert also featured performances from Cynthia Erivo, Jeremy Jordan, and student performers from across the Beaverton School District.

Broadway actress Jessica Vosk has filed a police report against former Bravo star Arzo Anwar after allegedly being attacked by her in New York City.

Jessica, who is well known for playing Elphaba in Wicked, says that she was out walking her dog Fred on Tuesday (May 5) when a woman, who wasn’t wearing a mask, tried running past them and got too close for comfort.

Jessica told the woman to put on a mask and she says the woman retaliated by hitting her in the face. At this point, she started filming a video and she tweeted (and later deleted) the clip of the encounter. Fans figured out that the person in the video is Arzo, who is a celebrity stylist and known for starring on Bravo’s Blood Sweat and Heels.

“What you see is a video of someone who just hit me because I told her to wear a mask if she decides not to appropriately social distance in a densely populated city area. Nothing—and I mean NOTHING—condones hitting another person. Period,” Jessica tweeted to a fan.

Jessica says that she didn’t put up the video on Twitter to play the role of a victim. She decided to tweet the video to help her identify the woman, something the police suggested she do.

On Wednesday, Jessica updated fans to say that she had filed the police report.

“Thanks everyone! Was able to go file a report today. ONWARD!” Jessica said. In response to someone who referenced Arzo in a tweet, she replied, “It was indeed that person, and I am glad I was able to handle it.”

Baz Luhrmann steps out for the opening night performance of Broadway’s Moulin Rouge musical on Thursday (July 25) at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York City.

The 56-year-old filmmaker, who wrote and directed the film version, was joined at the event by his wife Catherine Martin, as well as Vogue‘s Anna Wintour and her daughter Bee Shaffer.

Baz and Catherine are credited by the production for their “creative services.”

More stars in attendance at the event included Billy Eichner, Lin-Manuel Miranda, John Mulaney, Gloria Estefan and husband Emilio, as well as Broadway stars Stephanie Styles, Bernadette Peters, Ariana DeBose, Nick Adams, Jessica Vosk, and Steven Pasquale, plus producer Jordan Roth.
