The Twilight film franchise left behind a legacy that still lives on today, and it introduced us to a talented (and very wealthy) cast of stars.

Based on author Stephenie Meyer‘s novels, the franchise helped to lay the groundwork for a new generation of teen fantasy blockbusters. It also set up its stars for a successful run in Hollywood.

Of course, some of the most recognizable stars from the franchise are the three main leads – Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. However, the rest of the Cullen family and several other stars from the franchise have also enjoyed successful careers in Hollywood.

The franchise is on our minds again thanks to a recent cast reunion and a prominent star welcoming their first child. We decided to check out what sort of fortunes the stars have amassed, and you might be surprised by where some of the actors fall on the list. Ryan Gosling weighed in on the chances of his fan-favorite movie The Nice Guys getting a sequel.

The 43-year-old Barbie actor starred in the 2016 movie alongside Russell Crowe.

There were reports that the series would continue with a spinoff TV series and even hints of a possible sequel back when it first premiered.

However, nearly a decade later Ryan is not very optimistic about anything happening. He explained how one other movie might have skewered plans to develop a franchise.

Danny Boyle‘s hit movie 28 Days Later is finally getting another sequel and some major names are attached!

The original movie was released back in 2002 and starred Cillian Murphy as a bicycle courier who woke up from a coma and discovered that zombies had overrun the world following a virus outbreak.

28 Weeks Later was the first sequel and hit theaters back in 2007, though Boyle didn’t direct and original write Alex Garland didn’t write the screenplay.

Now, both Boyle and Garland are returning for the new sequel 28 Years Later with a star-studded cast attached.

Production on the upcoming live action How to Train Your Dragon film is currently underway!!

The new adaptation of the franchise sees writer and director Dean DeBlois returning to write and helm the film after directing the previous three animated movies.

Based on the books by Cressida Cowell, the first animated movie followed Hiccup, a young Viking who defies tradition and befriends one of his deadliest foes – a ferocious dragon he calls Toothless. Together, the unlikely heroes fight against the odds to save both their worlds in this wonderful, feel-good hit.

The movie kicked off filming back in January after strike-related delays, and as of early March, was still underway in Ireland.

Cressida even visited the set and teased, “Everyone is in for a TREAT!”

How to Train Your Dragon is currently slated for a June 13, 2025 release.

While we await more details, we do know who will be starring in the upcoming live action adaptation, including an original voice star from the animated trilogy and a recent addition!

Zack Snyder is revealing the reason behind his heavy use of slow motion in his Rebel Moon films.

The 58-year-old director released Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver on Friday (April 19). The film continues the story of 2023′s Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire, starring Sofia Boutella, Michiel Huisman, Ed Skrein, Djimon Hounsou, and more.

Audiences have noticed that slow motion is a common characteristic of action sequences in Zack‘s movies, and his Rebel Moon franchise is no exception.

The filmmaker recently explained why he loves to slow things down.
