Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed are speaking out about their decision to ditch acting, and how they’ve fared since.

Back in November, the 45-year-old former Vampire Diaries star explained that he Nikki, 35, moved to a farm outside of Los Angeles to raise their two children: Bodhi, 6, and their 6-month-old son.

During an appearance at the Common Ground screening on Thursday (January 11) in Los Angeles, the married couple reflected on their post-Hollywood lives.

Jason Momoa and his kids were among the celebs at the Common Ground special screening!

The 44-year-old actor was joined by 16-year-old daughter Lola and 15-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf at the documentary screening on Thursday (January 11) at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif.

By fusing journalistic expose’ with deeply personal stories from those on the front lines of the food movement, Common Ground unveils a dark web of money, power, and politics behind our broken food system. The film reveals how unjust practices forged our current farm system in which farmers of all colors are literally dying to feed us.

Jason was joined at the premiere by fellow narrators Laura Dern and Ian Somerhalder, who attended with his wife Nikki Reed, an executive producer on the project.

More celebs at the premiere included Malin Akerman and husband Jack Donnelly, Demi Moore, Alfonso Ribiero, Amy Smart and husband Carter Oosterhouse, Frances Fisher, Amanda Kloots, Cara Jade Myers, and director Catherine Hardwicke.

Lots of screenings of Common Ground are scheduled across the country in the coming weeks!

Twilight hit theaters 15 years ago today on November 21, 2008 and we’re taking a look back at the author’s dream casting for the roles, before the films were made.

Author Stephenie Meyer, who wrote the Twilight book series, shared a blog post she wrote from 2007 that has recently resurfaced with her original actor and actress choices to play the title characters in the movies!

Back in 2007, before the first movie was made, Stephenie wrote on her blog, “My opinions on the movie matter to no one. I have no influence on what goes on with the movie at all. No one is going to ask who I think should star in Twilight.”

So basically, Stephenie‘s opinions on who should be cast weren’t taken into consideration.

The original movies starred Kristen Stewart as Bella and Robert Pattinson as Edward.
