The BBC and Netflix series premiered in 2013 and aired its final season in 2022. If you didn’t know, a movie that will wrap up the story of Tommy Shelby and his family is in the works with much of the main cast set to reprise their roles.

Annette Bening is stepping out for the premiere of her new Peacock series!

The 65-year-old Oscar-nominated actress joined co-stars Sam Neill, Jake Lacy, Georgia Flood, Essie Randles, and Conor Merrigan-Turner at the premiere of Apples Never Fall on Tuesday (March 12) held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.

Fellow cast members also in attendance included Dylan Thuraisingham, Jeanine Serralles, Katrina Lenk, Nate Mann, Paula Andrea Placido, Pooja Shah, and Timm Sharp.

Sam Neill provided an update on his battle with cancer.

Earlier this year the 76-year-old actor, who you’ll recognize from the likes of Jurassic Park and Peaky Blinders, revealed that he was diagnosed with stage-three blood cancer in March 2022.

He let fans know that he was in remission. In October 2023, he’s been in remission for over a year.

In a new interview, Sam opened up about the drug that is keeping him that way. He also discussed dying, saying that he was not afraid of it. However, there was one thing that left him “horrified.”

Sam Neill made his first public appearance after announcing that he’d been diagnosed with stage-three blood cancer.

The 75-year-old actor joined his co-stars at the world premiere of their new movie The Portable Door at Hoyts Entertainment Quarter on Thursday (March 23) in Sydney, Australia.

Looking sharp in a suit, the actor had nothing but smiles for the camera at the event.

He was joined there by co-stars Damon Herriman, Arka Das, Sophie Wilde, Miranda Otto and Patrick Gibson. Director Jeffrey Walker was also in attendance. You can see photos of everyone in the gallery!

If you missed it, Sam first announced his cancer diagnosis earlier this month. He appears to be prepared to discuss it in depth in an upcoming memoir. He provided an update and revealed that he was in remission a few days after first making headlines.

The Portable Door premieres on April 7.
