Before Sandra Oh said yes to play Eve Polastri on BBC America’s Killing Eve, another major star was offered the role.
The series, which concluded after four seasons earlier this year, centered on Eve, who was bored of what her spy life had become, before being tasked to hunt down Villanelle, a very talented killer, mercurial in mood, who clings to the luxuries of her job.

Turning Red, the latest movie from Disney and Pixar, is now streaming on Disney+ and you’ll probably want to know more about the film’s voice cast.
There are plenty of familiar faces who voice roles in the new animated feature.
Turning Red introduces Mei Lee (voice of Rosalie Chiang), a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming (voice of Sandra Oh), is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda!

Sandra Oh‘s new movie Umma is being released in theaters very soon!
Sony Pictures just released the trailer for the upcoming film and revealed that the movie will drop in theaters on March 18.
Umma, which is the Korean word for “mother,” follows Amanda (Oh) and her daughter (Fivel Stewart) living a quiet life on an American farm, but when the remains of her estranged mother arrive from Korea, Amanda becomes haunted by the fear of turning into her own mother.
Also starring in the movie are Odeya Rush, Dermot Mulroney, MeeWha Alana Lee, and Tom Yi.

Billie Eilish hits the red carpet premiere of Turning Red held at El Capitan Theatre on Tuesday (March 1) in Los Angeles.
The 20-year-old musician joined the film’s stars Sandra Oh, Rosalie Chiang, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Hyein Park, Ava Morse, Addie Chandler, Josh Levi, Tristan Allerick Chen, Topher Ngo, Sherry Cola, and Lily Sanfelippo.
Beauty influencer Patrick Starrr was also seen at the premiere.
Billie and her brother, Finneas, worked on the soundtrack for the film. Finneas also appears as one of the members of the fictitious boy band 4*Town, alongside Jordan Fisher, and Topher.
In fact, there are three original songs that Billie and Finneas wrote including “Nobody Like U,” “1 True Love,” and “U Know What’s Up.”

The new Disney and Pixar movie Turning Red is being released very soon and the cast just hit the red carpet for a gala screening!
Sandra Oh and her young co-star Rosalie Chiang walked the red carpet at the premiere on Monday (February 21) at Everyman Borough Yards in London, England.
The stars were joined at the premiere by screenwriter and director Domee Shi and producer Lindsey Collins. Singer Anne-Marie, who has a cameo in the movie, also walked the carpet!
