'Scandal's Final Season Gets An Episode Count!

There are new details about the upcoming final season of Scandal!

The seventh season of Shonda Rhimes‘ long running drama will consist of 18 episodes, according to TVLine.

It’s a two episode increase over season six, which only had 16 episodes due to star Kerry Washington‘s pregnancy.

This means that the series will end its seven season run with a grand total of 124 episodes.

“Next year we are going all out. Leaving nothing on the table. Creating this world in celebration. We are going to handle the end the way we like to handle the important things in our Scandal family: all together, white hats on, gladiators running full speed over a cliff,” Shonda recently said about the final season.
