Six Feet Under is coming back to life – but not everyone seems to think it’s a great idea.

On Friday (December 10), reports arrived of a follow-up to the beloved series at HBO, which first premiered in June of 2001 and ran for five seasons through 2005.

'Six Feet Under' Cast & Creator To Reunite For PaleyFest 2021!

Paleyfest has announced their lineup for the 2021 season and there’s a Six Feet Under reunion planned!

While no cast members of the hit series have been confirmed to attend, creator Alan Ball will definitely be there.

“I look forward to reuniting with the cast of ‘Six Feet Under’ for the PaleyFest event marking its 20th anniversary. I have such tremendous respect for everyone, it will be a real treat to reconnect and talk about the show,” Alan shared in a statement.

Cast members will be announced in the coming weeks and the reunion will have them reminiscing and reflecting on the two decades years since the show premiered on HBO, and the impact it has had on audiences ever since.

If you’re unfamiliar, Six Feet Under starred Michael C. Hall, Peter Krause, Lauren Ambrose, and more, and revolved around the Fisher family, who owned and operated a funeral home in Los Angeles.

The series ran for five seasons from 2001 until 2005, with 63 episodes.
